Yes it is possible I just think it has to be sharingan user. But this would mean Kakashi will loose his side then. Maybe we will see madara crush it. Only to be revealed that Obito has come from the future with another.
The theory is involving the idea of time traveling. It doesnt have to be kakashi but I think it would be a sharingan related to obitos. Either him or kakashi gets both and the ems power enables them to go from their dimension into Kamui dimension and then to another. I think Kamui zone is a realm between other realms. Similar to how Full Metal Alchemist has the realm where they go if they do human transmutation and multiple realm attached to it also. If one of them gets time travelling it can be possible that they stay there for a while til they master the jutsu then goes back. Or it could happen to be a future uchiha.
This theory is stupid. One how could Kakashi know he's going to get the other eye. Two how could he know that with both eyes he can go into the future. When he says this is going to be our last battle together he's saying that because he knows him or Obito are probably going to die.The realm that kamui goes to is a realm between other realms/timelines.
I think he will get both of Obitos eyes in the kamui realm. Then he will try to go back into the battlefield with his new power up. He phases but ends up some where else. Turns out he is in the future, the alliance lost the war, he links Sasukes death being the reason that the war was lost. So he finds a way back to the past to save sasuke. The mystery man is Future OP Kakashi. Let me know what you guys think.

My thoughts exactly. I doesn't necessary need to be Kakashi but i would say him and obito would be the better choice, since they already display capabilities of space time ninjutsu. Other than that I can only think of two other possibilities. It could be a future Uchiha or Uzumaki, maybe a combination of both? Kid comes back in time and approaches Sasuke and Naruto. He says " I'm glad to see you Grandpa" they ask who he is refering to. The kid response "both of you". Mind Blown!!! Sasuke and Naruto's kid gets married and has an OP kid. Any ways, FTG is based off of seals, which I think where originally created by the Uzumaki or they inspired The Nidaime and Minato to create the Space/Time Jutsu. This can be possibly be an Uzumaki. Which would be good so we get more story about the Mysterious clan. It can also be an Uchiha, since they have unique powers for each, I can see someone of Sasukes bloodline receiving it. Either that or Obito if he lives.
If he did that the Alliance wouldn't be together which the stone village would most likely still use Akatsuki and play dirty, plus Danzo wouldn't be dead so most likely war would still go on.

he will die eventually but most likely not in battle. Kishi has already forshadowed reviving the alliance. He has a problem with killing the good guys. or keeping them dead. lol
