Chris makes it home, he opens the door and walks into his house, the rooms are dark, all lights are out, the house was asleep. He took off his coat and shoes then walked into the living room, no sign of life; he walked upstairs and into his bedroom, the bed was occupied and he smiled at the sight. Chris wakes up the next morning, he gets changed into his work clothes, white shirt, black tie and trousers. He goes downstairs and the place is empty, he sighs.
"Guess she is annoyed with me."
He puts on his coat and walks his car today, starting the engine and driving to work.

Upon reaching the station he walks into the offices, greeting his colleagues he walks along side Martin after being handed a Coffee.

Before Chris can curse, Martin moves to his desk outside of Chris' office and chuckles. Walking through the door he saw it, the papers, the dreaded papers that every officer feared, he huffed and placed his coffee next to them, sitting down in his chair and looks up at the ceiling.

The Phone suddenly rings and chris looks from the ceiling to the phone, he whispers to himself before answering 'please be a call out, please be a call out.' He answers and presses the phone to his ear.
"Hello?"

He sits back in his chair, hoping she has more news.
*laughs again at his response* sadly I do. We've got another call out. Similar to yesterday's find, which was two weeks old..but this ones fresh. They're getting more frequent, Chris...we need to catch this guy. I'll be by the library in an hour, you'll see the site...this body is a bit...everywhere. *her serious tone through her talk on the case lightened slightly at the end* hope you can stomach it.

Chris hangs up the phone and gets up, taking his now warm coffee with him, sipping it as he walks out the door. He looks towards Martin and calls his name, he looks back.
"Another call out, lets go, you're driving."
Martin nodded, happy to see his papers get further away from him as he walked by chris' side, the car keys in his hands. When they got to the car, it was a new model, since the other got shot up, this one wasn't so obvious wearing the police stripes, it was jetblack.
"Aw yeah, much better."
Chris chuckled, "I'm driving."
Martin's face dropped, he hands the keys over and gets in the passenger seat. They drove off, Martin put the temporary siren up on the roof and Chris let himself go in the car, his smile wider than ever.
*in the crime scene by the library, collecting samples from the mess. She hears the car come in and stands, walking towards the edge of the tape, not crossing as she's suited up, laughs lightly as they pull up* boys and their toys. *watches Chris and Martin step out* nice wheels boys. Sorry to tear you away from your paperwork. Hope you can bear the smell. Suit up, I got something to show you. *gestures her head to the crime scene*

-After suiting up they duck under the tape and walk in, Martin looks around and tries not to look at most of the graphic stuff, though it was everywhere. Chris however was sucking on a mint, he found that it helped.-
