That jutsu of Hashirama's. If you guys believe Tobirama came to attack Madara without having a plan of him possibly losing, then you guys are underrating the smartest/cleverest guy of Naruto-verse.

Only Tobirama made him Hokage.

Hashirama simply taught him what it means to be a Hokage.. just like Hiruzen was telling the younglings of Konoha in the start..
