Would you be upset if Naruto decided he didn't want to become Hokage anymore?

Yeah, I'd be preety upset. Theres just a feeling of accomplishment for Naruto to become hokage, and the dream coming true. A message for life, hard work eventually pays off.

Personally I wouldn't be upset so long as the reason he chooses not to become Hokage is a valid one. If he decided not to become hokage on a whim or because Sasuke wants to THAT would upset me. But it would be kind of anti-climatic if he chose not to be the greatest hokage there ever was.

Naruto promised many people he would become Hokage: Gaara, Chiyo, Tsunade, Jiraya, Iruka, and his mother.

When it comes to Tsunade he is basically fulfilling her brother and lover's dream, and then their is his promise to Nagato and Konan to bring peace to the Land in the Rain.

Naruto is big about not breaking his promises.

To me him not becoming Hokage would make a great deal of the manga pointless.
