Well ima bit confused when those fodder uchihas used izanagi while itachi explained the story bout it. they still need senju dna for casting it or its without possible?

You don't need senju Dna to cast izanagi. Senju Dna can be used to bring izanagi closer to it perfect form or increase the duration of the jutsu.

I was thinking that a 3 tomoe required Senju DNA and a MS didn't.

Then again, back then the uchiha's descendant/or bloodline with the senju slowly thinned.

No it doesn't Danzou failed because he wasn't an uchiha by blood. he had Uchiha(eyes) + Senju(Wood from Hashirama)

Danzo isn't an Uchiha , he had Senju DNA to help him control all those eyes and extend his use of Izanagi.

If Izanagi needed Senju DNA to work then it would be a Rikudo( Senju + Uchiha ) Kinjutsu not an Uchiha Kinjutsu.

Also Izanami a Kinjutsu that is > Izanagi don't require Senju DNA , how does you explain that ?

Senju = Wood from Hashirama
Now what did Danzou have? He had Sharingan + Wood release = Uchiha + Senju
