Given edo Oro is above, but they're relatively equal. Orochimaru is just a bad match up for him, so he'll win in most situations.

Jman has some of the most unique abilities as well. Pein credits all Sannin have unique abilities that sets them apart anyone else.

He fought the most powerful character at that point in the series and one shot his accomplice in that same battle. No Intel and at a home court disadvantage. Nagato and Konan had intel on him, and even the former admitted he'd lose if he wasn't careful.

Naruto couldn't win without full intel and the help of the 9-tails, so that's a testament to the Toad Sage's strength.

The J man is definitely underrated.
