I think this is a pretty interesting match-up.

Location: Gaara Vs Kimmimaro

Distance: 15 Meters

Conditions: They both start off in their base forms and work their way up.

Intent: To kill

So who do you think wins this? I think this could go either way


EDIT: Mindset; both characters start the fight calm. (Juugo always goes crazy in his full Curse Seal State though)

I edited it. Neither start the fight bloodlusted or anything. Juugo always loses it in his full curse seal mode though. And intent is to kill.

Juugo was incapacitated by Killer Bee though, and at the time Killer Bee was just using Taijutsu.

I do wonder if the Curse Mark Cannons can hit Lee.

It goes down to Juugo's durabilty and how his physical state will respond to gated Lee's strikes.
He was able to tank

but 2 hits from raikage ended him...Lee is not strong as raikage but he can land more strikes in gates due to fighting style; plus AoE of his strength was not small compared to raikages: [

Juugo launched canon balls to the raikage after he got struck and raikage stood still, don't think Lee would do the same.

Lee has gotten better at using the Gates. It was shown earlier in the Juubi fight.

I agree, but I'm not sure if Juugo can be beaten by Lee's taijutsu when he's in his highest Curse Seal state. =/

One blow for Ay left him immobile. If Lee was to use his 6th gate and let out a combos, I think it'll be equivalent to that

That's true, but I don't think Lee has the 6th Gate.

If he were to go into 5th Gate, and go all out like he did against Gaara, I think Juugo would be KO'ed.

But then Lee would pass out also.. =/ Who knows, I personally think Lee takes this extreme high diff, but that's just me.

I give this to Lee, once he opens gates Juugo will barely be able to keep up with him yet alone tank a hidden lotus.

If Juugo can enter V2 then the match is his.

The only real problem here is Lee's speed when he opens the gates, but if Juugo could react to Ay then he can probably react to Lee as well. He'll still have problem keeping up though, so it'll probably be high diff.

Juugo was severly hurt BEFORE Ay elbowed him.

Remember Ay punched Juugo chest open leaving him pretty damaged BEFORE he elbowed him.

Juugo is able to fly, use chakra blast, and use his entire body as an arsenal. Rock lee only hope is limiting Juugo's Curse mark ability

Neither of them are really much smarter than the other while their speed and strength are both pretty similar, though Lee's taijutsu is marginally better and his trump card is notably stronger and faster than Juugo's.

In the end, Juugo will succumb to his killer instinct and lose his mind, and since Lee does not have that problem (unless he goes drunk...OMG I WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN O.O) then Lee can better use his superior fighting ability and sharper mind to keep himself in play until Juugo exhausts himself. If Lee gets thrashed too much, then he could go into gates mode, and end the fight then and there with his superior speed and strength and deadly techniques.
