Similarities: They both love someone and have risked their life to protect him. The reason they love that person is because that person has inspired them to become strong.

Differences; They have very different personalities. Hinata is shy whereas Mikasa is tough. Also Mikasa is a natural prodigy whereas Hinata was originally a failure.

I don't see much resemblance between them besides the fact that they both love the main character but god mikasa is such a boring character! and the fact that she is over glorified by the author and overrated by most of the fanbase makes it worse. (I know that hinata is also overrated but not by that many people compared to mikasa).
