Avatar Korra was born with into the Valentine clan in a hidden part of theAmegakure by her parents Tonraq and Senna Valentine. Not even a week after she was born she was relocated to the Southeren Water Tribe because of the fear that her ninja power would grow, which later was shown to be the best decision since the village was destroyed. Her parents also dyed her hair from red to black so no one can find out of her bloodline. At the age of four Korra showed she could use jutsus from four elements water, lightning, fire, and earth. At first her first element she shown she could use and well was Water and with the hellp of Mastere Katara she laerned how to use it with hand signs.
After learning Suiton really fast she learned doton and raiton pretty fast after that. At the age of seventeen, Korra demonstrated her Katon use to the Order of the White Lotus and Katara, her suiton teacher. Although expressing concern over her lack of restraint and ignorance of spiritual matters, the leader of the White Lotus decided that she had successfully mastered fire, her third element, and was ready to commence her Futon training under Tenzin's tutelage. However, Korra's Futon training was put on hold when Tenzin announced that the unrest in Republic City was preventing him from leaving the city to relocate to the Southern Water Tribe as planned. Unhappy, she decided that if Tenzin could not come to her, she would go to him. With Katara's blessing, she stowed away on a cargo ship heading for the city with Naga, her polar bear dog and animal guide.

Upon their arrival in Republic City, Korra and Naga roamed the city, discovering for themselves just how out of balance it really was, with its unequal division of wealth and rampant street crime. In the park, Korra came across an Equalist protester trying to bring together non-benders to join Amon and the Equalists. After she called ninjutsu "the coolest thing in the world" and openly considered Suiton the protester off of his platform, the non-benders got riled up against her. After successfully thwarting members of the Triple Threat Triad, Korra found herself apprehended by the Steel Release User Police Force on charges of destruction of private and city property. After an unsuccessful runaway attempt, she was brought to the police headquarters, where she was interrogated by a displeased Chief Lin Beifong. Although Tenzin managed to persuade her to drop all the charges against Korra, Lin made it very clear that she would keep an eye on the young Avatar.

Even though Tenzin had promised to send Korra back home again, she managed to persuade him to let her stay, as he now realized that Republic City needed its Avatar. She was allowed to stay and commence her futon training on Air Temple Island under Tenzin's tutelage. Her decision to take up residence at Air Temple Island was publicly announced during a press conference in front of City Hall, during which she stated that "Avatar Aang meant for this city to be the center of peace and balance in the world," and that she would strive to attain that goal.

Korra found herself struggling with mastering the "element of freedom", eventually destroying a priceless Air Nomad training tool with fire release in a fit of rage, turning her anger on Tenzin. She continually found herself frustrated at her inability to use futon, and by the fact that Tenzin would not allow her to attend a pro-ninja match, something she had wanted to watch since childhood. Unwilling to sit idle on the island, she snuck off at night so she could finally attend a match at the arena. Upon arriving, she was caught exploring the arena's gym by Toza, but was bailed out by Bolin, who stated she was "with him". Following her rescuer, she was guided to the playing area where she was introduced to Bolin's brother, Mako. Initially, Mako scarcely acknowledged Korra, assuming she was just another one of Bolin's "fangirls". This caused the two of them to get off on the wrong foot; however, he later impressed Korra when he single-handedly defeated the Golden Temple Tigerdillos in the third round of the pro-ninja match. Still, he seemed indifferent to Korra's presence even after he learned that she was the Avatar. She hung around for the match and became enthralled with the sport and the Fire Ferret team. After the match, Bolin taught her some basics, and Korra proved herself to be a natural.
When the Fire Ferrets' suiton user, Hasook, appeared to be a "no-show" for the final match, Korra jumped at the chance to take his spot and compete. Early on, her inexperience showed when she committed two quick fouls, prior to revealing herself as the Avatar by earth release. The official ruled she could continue to compete but had to stick with water release. When Tenzin ordered her to return to the island immediately, she justified her stay by stating that it was important for her as the Avatar to learn modern-style of using elemental ninjutsu, something pro-ninjutsu could help her with. Though she initially struggled with the rules and pace of the game, Korra slowly got the feel of it. Korra started applying some of her futon lessons by moving around in her zone like "a leaf in the wind", proving to Tenzin, who was still watching, that his teachings were not all lost to her. This sudden change of tactics from Korra won the match for the Fire Ferrets. This victory gained the team access to the official pro-ninjutsu championship tournament, and Korra was accepted to permanently replace Hasook as the team's suiton user.

When Korra was practicing futonat Air Temple Island with Jinora and Ikki, Mako arrived to ask her about Bolin's whereabouts. After her insistence to help find Bolin, she and Mako decided to go looking for him throughout the city. In Central City Station, they met Skoochy, who told them he had been recruited as extra security by the Triple Threat Triad. When Mako and Korra made it to the gang's headquarters, they learned that Bolin had been captured by the Equalists in a raid, and the pair immediately set out to rescue him. They traveled to Republic City Park to find the protestor, who told them that Bolin was likely taken to the Equalist rally called "The Revelation". At the rally, they discovered that Amon possessed the ability to permanently remove one's chakra and stop them form using ninjutsu, a skill thus far believed only to be obtainable by Avatars. During Amon's demonstration on the captured ninja, one of whom was Bolin, Korra produced a large cover of steam from some nearby pipes, which created panic and distracted the Equalists long enough to allow Mako to rescue Bolin. When the brothers were overpowered by the Lieutenant, Korra arrived just in time to save them with her doton, and they made their escape on Naga. As soon as Korra got back to Air Temple Island, she informed Tenzin and consequently the United Republic Council of Amon's ability.

The encounter with the Equalists and their leader left a profound impression on Korra, as she had nightmares about being immobilized by their ninjutsu blocking and subsequently being stripped of her chakra by Amon. For the first time in her life, Korra found herself afraid of something, although she refused to admit it. This fear held her back in her daily life, and when Councilman Tarrlok approached her with the offer to lead a special task force with him to take down Amon, she politely refused with the excuse that she needed to focus on her futon training. However, Tarrlok persisted and threw a gala in her honor. He tricked her into holding a press conference, during which Korra buckled under the accusing questions of the journalists and shouted that she would join Tarrlok's task force to help fight Amon, if that was what the city needed.

Eager to prove to everyone, including herself, that she was not afraid of anyone, Korra successfully apprehended several Equalists, with the help of Tarrlok's special task force, and publicly challenged Amon to a midnight duel at Aang Memorial Island, without any back-up of the task force or ninjutsu blockers. However, Amon did not show up alone, and his henchmen quickly overpowered her. When Amon emerged from the shadows, Korra was terrified that he was going to take her chakra away. However, he did not, and instead revealed that he had a plan to rid the world of ninja and that he was saving her for last in order to prevent her from becoming a martyr. Following Amon's monologue, he knocked her unconscious where she experienced several flashbacks surrounding Avatar Aang, Sokka, Toph, and a mysterious man in what appeared to be a court room. When she regained consciousness, Tenzin was running toward her. After telling him what happened, Korra broke down and finally admitted that she was terrified of Amon and the Equalists and that she did not know what to do

When Korra first joined the fire ferrets she had a tough time impressing Mako, but Bolin was always encouraging her, however after Korra helped the fire ferrets win an impressive victory Mako geninuely complimented Korra and started to respect her. When Bolin was kidnapped Korra insisted on helping Mako find his brother. While they were searching for Bolin, Mako told Korra of how he witnessed a katon user murder his parents and that he has been taking care of his brother ever since. When Korra was at a banquet held in her honor she was upset to find out that Mako had come with Asami, and she brought up how Mako never mentioned Asami before. After an encounter with Amon and his chakra blockers, Korra settled down, and took a break from Tarrlok's task force to prepare for the upcoming Pro-Ninjutsu Tournament. However, her feelings for Mako continued to impact her, and she often became jealous of Asami's relationship with him. Korra refused Bolin's advances toward her, declining his requests to spend time together, rather electing to return to Air Temple Island for further training with Tenzin.
She later spoke with Jinora and Ikki, hoping for advice on how to approach Mako. Pema overheard the conversation and gave Korra the advice to just be honest with Mako.

After Korra and the Fire Ferrets earned a convincing victory in the first round of the tournament, she followed Pema's advice and confessed her true feelings to Mako. However, he turned her down, telling her he was with Asami and did not see her in the same way. Seeing her downbeat, Bolin again invited Korra for a night out, and this time, she accepted, much to Mako's annoyance. The two enjoyed a dinner at Narook's Seaweed Noodlery, but were interrupted by Tahno, who attempted to provoke them into a fight. Bolin urged Korra to ignore Tahno's approach, warning her that harming him outside of the arena would disqualify the Fire Ferrets from the tournament. Heeding the warning, Korra called on Naga instead, who intimidated Tahno with a loud roar. After this little interruption, the two continued their night out together, enjoying drinks in a bar and the panoramic view of Republic City at night from atop a tower.
When Korra returned to the Pro-Ninja Arena the following night, Mako was waiting for her, inquiring what kind of game she was playing with Bolin to get back at him. Korra immediately saw through his attitude and called his reaction jealousy. However, when she asked Mako to be honest and admit that he liked her, the two got into an argument, which nearly cost them the next match against the Boarcupines. Korra was approached by Mako after the match, who admitted that he had not been honest with her. He explained that he did have feelings for her, but was confused due to his relationship with Asami. Korra impulsively kissed Mako, and was kissed back in return. When she broke it off, she noticed Bolin standing nearby and looked away in shame, and was blamed by Mako for breaking Bolin's heart.

The next day, the semifinals began against the Buzzard Wasps. The romantic struggles presented a serious problem during the match and further divided the team. Frustrated, Korra excessively roughed up the opposing katon with suitonand even assaulted an official. At the start of round three, having lost the first two rounds convincingly, Korra tried to motivate her dejected teammates to not give up, albeit to no avail. Stubbornly refusing to give up herself, Korra fought the match of her life by herself, and secured a spot in the final by knocking all the Buzzard Wasps off the field with one powerful attack. Afterwards, the team made amends, putting their romantic problems aside to let friendship prevail. Korra was later complimented by Asami for her hat trick victory, and returned this kind gesture by sincerely thanking her and her father for their financial aid.

The day of the final match of the Championship Tournament, Korra, along with Bolin and Mako, was training when they heard a radio broadcast from Amon. After hearing him threaten "severe consequences" if the United Republic Council would not shut down the Pro-Ninjutsu Arena, the three friends rode to City Hall to convince them not to cancel the final. Korra pointed out that they could not give in to Amon's threats, however, to no avail as the Council had already unanimously agreed to do so. She found an unlikely ally in Chief Lin Beifong, and due to her interference, the Council members changed their minds and let the match be played. Korra wanted to thank Lin for her help, but was completely ignored. When she complained to Tenzin about Lin's hostile attitude, she came to the conclusion that Lin's issues were with Tenzin rather than with her.
In the match for the championship, the Fire Ferrets faced off against the White Falls Wolfbats. With cheating and some help from the bribed referees, the Wolfbats almost won the match in the first round with a knockout, but Korra managed to keep her team in play by holding onto the edge of the field. However, she fell in the water when she threw Mako back in play. The second round was to be decided with a tiebreaker, and Korra immediately took the chance to face off with Tahno, which resulted in an easy victory for the Avatar. However, despite this success, the Wolfbats defeated the Fire Ferrets in the third round with an illegal knockout.

When the match ended, Amon and the Equalists ambushed the Pro-Ninjutsu Arena, and Korra, who was still in the pool under the ring, was quickly immobilized by the Lieutenant when he touched the water with his electrified kali sticks. Falling unconscious, Korra had another vision of Aang fighting someone in the Avatar State with Toph alongside him. When she came to, she and her teammates were tied to one of the support beams of the arena platform, but they were soon freed by Pabu who saved them by biting through the ropes. Korra immediately created a waterspout to give chase to Amon and the Equalists who were escaping through the roof. With the help of Lin Beifong, she managed to reach the Equalist airship and knocked off the Lieutenant and an Equalist before being knocked off herself. A battle between the four Equalists and Korra, assisted by Lin, soon ensued in which Korra mainly focused on the Lieutenant, whom she managed to overpower and knock off the roof. However, the strain of the fight was too much for the arena's glass dome and Korra fell through, but was saved by Lin. After she thanked the police chief for the rescue, Mako, Bolin, and Tenzin joined them and together they watched the Equalists get away, realizing that they were now officially at war with them.

After Mako, Bolin, and Asami moved to Air Temple Island, Tenzin and Korra left for Saikhan's inauguration as the new chief of police. While there, the Avatar and the airbender confronted Tarrlok, questioning his actions, but the Councilman requested that Korra rejoin his task force, to which she refused. Tarrlok then alluded to the Avatar's lack of progress on her airbending, which caused her to worry about her airbending and spiritual block. She later spoke with Tenzin about the matter, mentioning that she was confused about the visions she had had. Tenzin advised her to meditate on these visions, believing Aang's spirit was trying to contact her.

Later, when she was crying while looking out at Aang's statue, her friends found her and cheered her up by assuring her they had her back. As the new Team Avatar, they decided to patrol Republic City in order to protect it from the Equalists. After arresting several escaped Equalist prisoners, Tarrlok confronted the team and warned them to stay out of his way. Later on, at a supposed Equalist rally in the Dragon Flats borough, Korra and her friends spotted a significant power outage in the area, which turned out to be caused by Tarrlok and several steel user officers in accordance with a new law against non-ninja. The non-ninja pleaded for Korra's help, who confronted Tarrlok but without success. She decided to intervene and attempt free the innocent non-ninja, much to the Councilman's displeasure, who then took all of Korra's friends into custody. Later that night, Korra and Tenzin spoke with Saikhan at the police headquarters, requesting that he release her friends and the ninja, but the chief refused.

Later that evening, Korra left the island on Naga and went to City Hall, where she confronted Tarrlok regarding his radical actions. He proposed that if she agreed to work for him, her friends would be released, but the Avatar refused and compared him to Amon, which infuriated the Councilman and caused him to attack her. A duel ensued between the two. Korra appeared to have won the duel when she knocked the Councilman out of his office and down to the Council's meeting room with a large doton attack, leaving Tarrlok without a source of water. However, just as she prepared two send fire blasts in his direction to end the duel, Tarrlok used blood release to control Korra's body and throw her across the room, knocking her unconscious. She had another vision of Aang, Sokka, Toph, and the same unknown man, who use blood release the entire room while Aang tried to stop him. As Korra awoke, she found herself tied up in the back of a police car, as Tarrlok told her she would never see Republic City again, for he was going to take her where no one could ever find her

Tarrlok took Korra to the mountains and locked her in a metal container in the basement of a small building. In the container, Korra decided to meditate on her previous visions and finally connected with Aang's spirit, as she had additional visions of Aang dealing with a powerful, criminal blood release user named Yakone. During a trial where he was found guilty, he used blood release on the entire court into submission, knocking Aang unconscious and forcing Toph to release him from his restraints. Yakone escaped, but Aang entered the Avatar State and chased down Yakone, where he fought, cornered, and stripped the blood release of his ninjutsu abilities. Korra then realized that Aang was trying to warn her about Tarrlok and his relation to Yakone. The Councilman then returned to the "prison", where Korra told him about her visions, pressing him to tell her the truth and admit his wrongdoing. He finally admitted that Yakone was his father and that he would now leave Republic City forever with Korra as his hostage.
Before anything else could happen however, the prison was raided by the Equalists, led by Amon. Korra overheard Tarrlok being stripped of his chakra, and Amon ordering his chi blockers to subdue Korra by electrocuting the box in which Korra was trapped. Korra ingeniously took one of her arm bands and wrapped one end around one of the metal bars at the top of the box and held onto the fabric, where she received a very mild electric shock but remained conscious. She escaped the box, eluding the other Equalists and escaping from Amon. She slid down a snowy hill and tripped over a branch, hurtling towards a tree. The blow knocked her unconscious, but Naga, having tracked her from Republic City, discovered her and carried her home.

They wandered through the forest until they reached Republic City, where Naga roamed the streets. Team Avatar – along with Lin and Tenzin – eventually found her, having heard Naga's howls whilst searching for Korra on Oogi. Mako, visibly worried about Korra beforehand, told everyone to, "give her some space" shoving his way past Lin and Tenzin who were crowding around Korra, and picked her up off Naga, cradling the Avatar in his arms. Mako, after retrieving Korra from Naga's back, laid her down on Oogi, brushing hair from her face assuring her, "You're safe now." She smiled in return, happy to be near him again. Team Avatar, Lin, and Tenzin then flew her home on Oogi, relieved that the Avatar was safe and sound.

After being found unharmed, Korra was taken back to Air Temple Island by the rest of Team Avatar, Lin, and Tenzin. As Korra attempted to recover from the ordeal, Mako remained at her bedside and even held Korra's hand, while Asami watched secretly at the door. Soon after, Team Avatar, Lin, and Tenzin enjoyed a meal with Pema and the Airbender kids. After eating for a bit, Korra admitted that Pema's food was starting to "make her feel like herself again." Tenzin then encouraged her to tell her harrowing tale. Korra explained that Tarrlok was Yakone's son, surprising both Lin and Tenzin. When asked how she escaped and where Tarrlok was, Korra responded that Amon had shown up out of nowhere, took Tarrlok's chakra, and captured him. She also told how she was almost captured as well. Tenzin then expressed his fear of Amon becoming emboldened and that his taking out a councilman and nearly capturing the Avatar was increasingly worrisome. He then told the group that he was afraid that "Amon [was] beginning to execute his endgame.

The next day, the Equalists began their attack on Republic City, starting with the capture of all council members, with the exception of Tenzin, who was able to fend off his attackers. Seeing the devastation from the island, Korra and her friends traveled to the city in hopes of aiding in the battle against the Equalists. Using Asami's Satomobile, they drove to the police headquarters where Tenzin was under attack by the Equalists. The gang, along with Tenzin, defeated the mecha tanks, preventing the Futon master's capture. Upon seeing an Equalist airship close in on Air Temple Island, they traveled on Oogi and arrived at the island. Successfully repelling the attackers, Tenzin ordered the evacuation of the island knowing that more airships would arrive soon. Tenzin told Korra to hide and be patient for the time being, promising her that he would return upon ensuring his family's safety. He assured her that the United Forces would soon arrive and help turn the tide against the Equalist threat. Korra agreed and vacated the island on Naga with Mako, Bolin, and Asami. They then fled to Republic City, where she and the rest of Team Avatar went to a secluded water pipeline. There, Korra sadly gazed at the destroyed Air Temple until Mako told her to keep moving. He then wrapped his arm around Korra as they continued to walk down the pipeline.
Soon after, the wire Tenzin had sent to the United Forces was received, reporting that the city had fallen under the Equalists' control. A large force had been dispatched to aid the city, led by General Iroh. Iroh told his subordinate to respond that his forces would arrive in three days time, and that together they would take back the city.

While hiding under the city, Korra and Mako stole chakra-blocker uniforms and infiltrated various Equalist rallies to stay up-to-date on Amon's movements. Korra was growing restless and increasingly more agitated at being branded a coward for "running away", but Mako advised her to be patient. After leaving an Equalist rally, the two rejoined Bolin and Asami and ate dinner with Gommu. Later that night, when neither of them could sleep, Mako told Korra that because of everything that had happened, he could not imagine his life without her. He went on to say Korra was the most loyal, brave, and selfless person he had ever known. While Korra was flattered and reciprocated his feelings, she suggested that they get some rest before the United Forces arrived in the morning.
When General Iroh approached the city, the United Forces fleet was swiftly destroyed by the Equalists using their newly crafted airplanes. Korra and the fleet tried to fend the airplanes off, but to no avail. She managed to rescue Iroh from his fall into the ocean and he graciously thanked her for saving his life. As Korra treated Iroh's burns, the General decided that with the Equalist airplanes around it would be impossible for the reinforcement fleet to take back the city. With the group's help, Iroh deduced the location of the Equalist airfield, and everyone prepared to leave. Korra, however, refused to go, as she believed it was her duty to stay in the city and confront Amon. Mako decided to accompany Korra while Bolin, Asami, and Iroh took down the airplanes. Iroh was reluctant to let Korra stay, but said that his grandfather, Zuko, would trust the Avatar's instincts, therefore he would too. Korra and Bolin hugged each other goodbye, and she left Naga with him.

Korra and Mako returned to Air Temple Island hoping to ambush Amon, but they instead found Tarrlok. The former Councilman told Korra and Mako that he and Amon were brothers. He proceeded to tell them about their childhood, and that Amon was actually a very powerful blood release user. Korra realized trying to ambush Amon directly would be a horrible idea. Instead she devised a plan to expose him as a ninja in front of his supporters, knowing the Revolution would crumble if she did. The two left to attend Amon's rally at the former Pro-Ninjutsu Arena, and Tarrlok apologized to Korra for his actions, asking them to stop Amon and "put and end to this sad story". Korra opted to free Tarrlok, but he refused, saying it would tip off his brother.
Korra and Mako made it to the arena, and Korra told Amon's supporters that he was really a blood release user. However, Amon showed his face and the fire "scars" he was given, making his supporters think Korra was the liar. Korra was dumbfounded and Mako opted for the two of them to escape. Amon told Korra to stay and watch, and revealed that he had captured Tenzin and his family. Korra became distraught, begging Amon to spare the last futon users. Mako shot a bolt of lightning at Amon, which he barely dodged. Mako and Korra used fire jutsus to propel themselves toward the stage, free Tenzin and his family, and escape out into the corridor.

While Tenzin and his children escaped to save Pema and Rohan, Mako and Korra retreated and hid in one of the fitness rooms. Amon pursued them, blood release Korra into submission. Mako attempted to stop him, but was subdued in turn. Korra was subsequently stripped of her ninjutsu abilities, while Mako observed the event in horror and anger. Korra tried to stand and fight Amon, but she was too weak and collapsed. The revolution leader then approached Mako, intending to also remove his chakra. However, Mako blasted Amon with a bolt of lightning, subsequently breaking out of the latter's blood release. Mako picked up a barely conscious Korra, who weakly lamented over her lost chakra. Amon quickly recovered and followed Mako, took over his blood once again in preparation to remove his katon chakra. However, at the last moment, Korra reacted instinctively to defend Mako and knocked Amon away with a FUTON: RASENSHURIKEN!
Amon was taken aback by Korra's futon, though Korra herself was just as surprised at her newfound abilities. She began to blast air punches at Amon, who was unable to regain his ground. Korra managed to use futon on him out a window and into the harbor in front of the Equalists. Amon's mask was knocked off his face and his "scars", which were only make-up, faded away in the water. As Amon was about to drown, he utilized his water chakra to propel himself out of the water in front of the crowd, which became disillusioned after his lies were exposed. Amon fled the battle, having lost the support of his Equalists, while Mako attempted to subdue him without success. Mako embraced Korra, who was still weak from losing her chakra.

Mako and Korra reunited with Bolin, Tenzin and his family, Lin, Asami, and Iroh on Air Temple Island and watched Commander Bumi arrive with the rest of the fleet. Tenzin praised Korra for saving Republic City, but she was distraught both that Amon had escaped and that her identity as the Avatar was seemingly altered beyond repair. Everyone escorted Korra to the Southern Water Tribe, where she reunited with her parents and Katara. Despite her best efforts, Katara was unable to mend the spiritual block that was keeping Korra from using the other four elements. A saddened Korra emerged and, despite reassurances from friends and family that things would be all right, she quietly stepped outside, saying that they would not be.
Recognizing her moment of need, Mako followed her, intent on consoling her. With sad hostility, Korra told him to return to Republic City, saying that, as she was no longer the Avatar, Mako no longer owed her any favors. Mako told her he didn't care if she was the Avatar or not, and he explained how he "went crazy" when she was kidnapped by Tarrlok because he was afraid he would "never see [her] again". He told Korra that he loved her, but she was too caught up in frustration and despair to say the same - so much so that she ran away on Naga, crying.

Korra then ran out onto the edge of the tundra overlooking the ocean and collapsed. She began to sob uncontrollably as she saw a man in Air Nomad attire standing behind her. Assuming that it was Tenzin, she told him to go away, but the man responded, "But you called me here". Upon turning around, Korra discovered the man was Avatar Aang, proclaiming an end to her inability to connect with the spirits of past Avatars. Korra was surprised to see Aang, who told her that she finally connected with her spiritual self. When Korra asked how, Aang told her, "When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change". All of the previous incarnations of the Avatar appeared behind Aang and he then used medical ninjutsu to restore Korra's bending. As her past lives faded away, Korra then used all five elements for the first time. When she finished, she turned around and saw an awestruck Mako standing near Naga. He smiled at her warmly and approached her. In return, she ran into his arms and kissed him, finally reaffirming her love towards him.
Korra and Mako returned to their friends and family, and using medical ninjutsu, she restored Lin Beifong's earth release. Everyone watched in awe and admiration as Lin lifted several massive stones, confirming that her chakra had returned. Lin thanked Korra and Tenzin approached her, saying how proud he was and addressing her as "Avatar Korra".

Six months after defeating Amon and gaining access to the Avatar State, Korra participated in an air scooter race on Air Temple Island with Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo. As the close race was nearing its conclusion, Korra used the Avatar State as a boost to win, but was quickly castigated by Tenzin when he found out what she had done, deeming her actions to be irresponsible. Confident in her wind release abilities and uninterested in more training, the Avatar dismissed her tutor's claims that she needed to hone her skills in a more dignified and advanced manner.

Korra postponed Tenzin's travel plans to visit all the air temples, a journey he hoped would bring her more spiritual enlightenment, in favor of a trip to the Southern Water Tribe to attend the Glacier Spirits Festival. Meeting up with her uncle, Unalaq, she found out that angry spirits had been attacking fishing boats in the Southern waters. Her interest in fighting spirits piqued, Korra became even less motivated to learn more advanced wind release, especially after she found out that it had been Tenzin and her father's decision to seclude her away in the isolated compound rather than Aang's.
When the village she resided in came under attack by a dark spirit later that night, Korra attempted in vain to fight the entity off, but even the Avatar State proved to be insufficient in comparison to the malevolent spirit's prowess. Only Unalaq managed to overpower the monster, by using a special water release technique that calmed the entity down and make it disappear completely. Impressed, and aware of her own shortcomings when it came to battling the spirit, Korra took her uncle up on his offer to become her new spiritual guide, breaking with Tenzin as her mentor.

Later, as Unalaq began to explain the nature of his training for Korra, he explained that they must first travel to the South Pole and open the spirit portal between the Snake World and the Ninja World, stating that despite its danger, it was necessary to begin the South Pole's spiritual restoration. They were joined by Mako, Bolin, as well as Desna and Eska. At the last minute, Tonraq insisted on coming along to keep Korra safe from the Everstorm that was brewing down there: a blizzard that had been going on for decades. Along the way, Unalaq expressed his belief that Tonraq was the reason for the spirits' attacking. It was also revealed that back in his youth, Tonraq was banished from the Northern Water Tribe because of his reckless actions that destroyed the sacred spiritual forest and angered its inhabiting spirits, which angered Korra because her father was continuing to hide secrets from her.
Furious about her father's continued secrets and dictation of her life, Korra began distancing herself from him. While admitting to his faults, Tonraq still insisted that the physical and Spirit World should remain separate, only for Korra to remind him that the Avatar is the bridge between both worlds and has this chance to live up to her potential. While Tonraq disagreed with his brother, Unalaq pointed out that that the Northern Water Tribe has helped the South rebuild physically but it lacks spirituality, hence the spirits' rampage. Suddenly, the party was ambushed by dark spirits. During the fighting, Korra attempted to replicate Unalaq's water jutsu technique to purify an attacking spirit, but it failed to work, causing her uncle to intervene and save her again. Since their supplies were stolen during the attack, Tonraq insisted they turn back. Ultimately, Korra told her father to return home.

Upon reaching the Everstorm, Unalaq told Korra that inside the frozen spirit forest is the spirit portal and that she must open it again so that the South will become spiritually balanced once again, but she must open it alone. Korra entered and was attacked by dark monsters. She struggled to fight them off but managed to tap the portal in the Avatar State and open it, causing the sky to light up. Upon returning to the group, Korra's uncle commended her for her actions, stating that what she had done would help restore spiritual balance to the south and maybe the whole world. Upon returning to the Southern Water Tribe's shores, the group found a Northern Water Tribe fleet arriving. Unalaq told her that the South's spiritual decay cannot be cured simply by opening the source, which left Korra worried.

Confused as to why Unalaq had brought his troops down from the north, Korra demanded to know more. When her uncle stated that it was to protect the spirit portal, Korra got defensive, deeming herself more than capable of protecting it on her own. Unalaq calmed her down by stating that there was another portal in the north, which, if opened, would allow the tribesmen to travel between either tribe in a manner of seconds. As such, Korra began to dream of a truly unified Water Tribe, just as her uncle. However, most Southerners did not see it that way and felt frustrated and suppressed by the northern presence in their tribe. As such, Korra attended a meeting at her parents' house to discuss their current situations. Tensions ran high and Korra was appalled by Varrick's insistence on a civil war with the North. Tonraq implored her to talk to Unalaq about the situation again for him, and Korra agreed, though she emphasized that she did it for the tribe and not for him as she was still angry with Tonraq.
When Korra told Unalaq how the Southerners were taking his presence there, the chief ensured her that he was merely trying to help and emphasized that even though it would be natural for her to side with the Southerners, she, as the Avatar, needed to remain neutral. As she voiced her doubts on being ready to take on the full extent of the Avatar responsibility, Unalaq reassured her that he had full faith in her abilities.

Korra attempts to intervene in tensions between Southern civilians and Northern military forces.
With her uncle's words in mind, Korra attempted to remain neutral, defusing arising conflicts without choosing a side. However, this backfired, leading the frustrated Southerners to turn on her, as they viewed her as a traitor. Frustrated about the situation, she confided in Mako, who attempted to cheer her up by inviting her on a date. However, what was supposed to be calming, private date, turned into a double date when Bolin brought Desna and Eska along.
That night, Korra returned home to find her mother waiting for her. Believing her father send her, Korra was curt to her, though when her mother kept pushing her to talk, she spilled her frustration about Tonraq's secrecy over his past. Her frustration only grew upon learning that Tonraq's past was no secret to Senna. She dismissed her mother's desire for giving her a normal childhood, stating that she always had wanted to be the Avatar, though found that everyone was holding her back. As her mother tried to make her understand that the conflict between the Water Tribes was not something recent, Korra learned that her father had been approached by rebels who were plotting against Unalaq. Fearing Tonraq went through with it, Korra promptly left her mother and rushed over to the royal palace.

Korra stopping the rebel who she believed to be Tonraq from taking off with Unalaq.
Arriving at the palace, hoping to warn her uncle, she found several guards knocked out and restrained. She found four masked rebels, one of which carrying an unconscious Unalaq. Under the impression that her father was among them, Korra pleaded with them to forsake their rebellion and leave, even going as far as offering them the chance to escape without consequence. However, they refused and a battle broke out, in which Korra swiftly overpowered the rebels. Korra thwarted the man she believed to be her father from making his escape on a snowmobile with Unalaq. However, as she unmasked him, demanding to know why he kidnapped Unalaq, she learned that her father had nothing to do with the ambush. As Unalaq awoke and sentences the rebels to freeze in prison, Korra convinced him to at least give them a fair trial, believing it to be an inherent right for every Water Tribe citizen.
Going back home to her parents, Korra broke down and hugged her father, relieved that he had nothing to do with the rebellion. However, the family's reconciliation was cut short when Unalaq appeared with guards to arrest Senna and Tonraq for the charges of conspiring to assassinate him.

Convinced of her parents' innocence, Korra told Unalaq that he was making a mistake. As she expressed her inability to believe that he would do that to his own family, Unalaq promised her that her parents would receive a fair trial with the most honorable judge of the Water Tribes, namely Judge Hotah.
Korra was called upon to witness at the trial, though the specific questions Hotah asked her, left her no room to elaborate on the events, causing her to make a tainted statement. Korra was relieved upon seeing her mother acquitted of all charges, but was shocked to find her father and the other rebels sentenced to death. Angered, she threatened to kill the judge if he would not reconsider, and after Unalaq interfered, the death penalty was changed to life imprisonment. After Tonraq was led away, Korra and Senna visited him in prison, and she immediately suggested to break him out of there, though reconsidered upon her father's wish.

Upon witnessing her mother crying over her husband's fate back at their home, she decided to get Judge Hotah to change his sentence and acquit her father of the charges as well. However, as she confronted the man, she found that he had merely been following Unalaq's orders and she learned her uncle had also been responsible for her father's banishment. Angered, she decided to break her father out of prison, calling on Mako and Asami to help her. After a brief skirmish with Unalaq in prison, the threesome left for Varrick's yacht, where the businessman and Bolin were waiting for them, in order to give chase to the ship heading for the Northern Water Tribe that carried Tonraq and the other prisoners.
After they freed the prisoners, Korra told her father the entire truth, causing him to officially rebel against his brother. Proud of her father, Korra wanted to fight alongside him against Unalaq, though she was sent to Republic City by Tonraq in order to ask President Raiko to deploy the United Forces to help the South.

Upon arriving back in Republic City, the civil war's effects were already beginning to take place, and Lin Beifong informed Korra and her friends of a peace march the Southerners were organizing that evening. Korra expressed her desire to attend, to show her fellow tribesmen that they had the support of the Avatar, though Mako attempted to dissuade her, stating that she should at least try to maintain a sense of neutrality. Emphasizing that she was not neutral, she ignored his suggestion and attended anyway. However, during the protest, the Southern Water Tribe Cultural Center was bombed, leaving Korra furious as she was convinced the North was behind it, even though Mako believed otherwise.

Angered by President Raiko's passivity, Korra threatens him that every casualty in the South will be on his hands.
The next day, Korra met with President Raiko in order to persuade him to support the South by sending the United Forces down to help them. Much to her dismay, however, the President refused, convinced that it was not the Republic's place to interfere with internal Water Tribe affairs and that the situation called for a diplomatic solution. Angered, Korra stated that his passivity would bring forth the destruction of the South, and that every casualty would thus be on his hands.
Frustrated, Korra went to Mako's apartment and vented about the situation to the officer. However, as a policeman, he tried to maintain a more neutral point of view, telling her that she could not expect the President to send troops to fight a war that is not theirs. Korra took this the wrong way, believing Mako to side against her, and the two got into an argument, which ended with Korra storming out on the fire user.

Korra headed to the harbor where Varrick's yacht was docked, hoping that the businessman would know what to do next. Upon his suggestion, the Avatar took her issue directly to General Iroh, who planned to bring his forces to the South for make-belief training exercises as a cover up for them to engage hostile Northern forces. However, the President interrupted their conversation, officially disabling Iroh from helping Korra. Korra received a warning from Raiko to not undermine his authority, which fueled her dislike of him even more. Iroh suggested that she head to the Fire Nation and talk to the Fire Lord for support.

When Korra met up with Bolin, asking him to watch Naga for her as she traveled to the Fire Nation, she learned from the earth user that Mako had ratted her plans out to the President. Feeling betrayed, she stormed into the police station and confronted him. Their discussion became heated very quickly and escalated to the point where Mako broke up with Korra, causing her to run off.

As Korra left Republic City to gain the aid of the Fire Nation, she was attacked by her two cousins, intent on capturing her and bringing her to Unalaq. During the battle, an enormous dark monster appeared out of the water. Korra attempted to subdue the entity with Unalaq's pacification technique. While initially working, the monster broke free. Korra then attempted to blast it with her fire release, though it had no effect and the spirit consumed her, dragging her below the surface.

Following the attack, Korra washed ashore on a Fire Nation island. She awoke to see three Fire Sages standing over her, and, reacting instinctively, used wind release to push them away. However, the action took its toll on her and she collapsed to her knees in exhaustion. One of the sages attempted to comfort her, stating that they were there to help her, but Korra became confused at the mention of her name, asking who that was. Alarmed, the sage asked her how she came to be on their island, but Korra responded that she could not remember how she got there or what had happened, before slipping into unconsciousness once more.

Korra was brought to the Bhanti Village Temple, and muttered "Raava" several times while the head sage, an elderly woman, examined her. She was diagnosed as having been infected by a poison release jutsu, which threatened to kill the Avatar Spirit within her if left untreated. In order to save the spirit, Korra was lowered into a healing cell, and she began to converse with visions of herself and her most recent past lives, Aang, Roku, Kyoshi, and Kuruk. After the vision of Avatar Kuruk informed her that, to reconnect with her Avatar spirit, she would need to return to the beginning, Korra found herself face to face with a young man. She asked him if he was Raava, to which the young man replied that he was not, but that he could help Korra find her. He informed the young Avatar that his name was Wan, and that he would show her how he became the first Avatar.
After witnessing Wan's life and consequently reconnecting with her deepest Avatar memories, Korra awoke with her memories regained. The elderly sage led her to a large field, where a herd of flying bison were grazing and offered the Avatar one. Korra thanked the woman for her kindness, and wondered aloud how long she had been gone, to which she receiving an inconclusive answer. However, with the Harmonic Convergence only a few weeks away, Korra stated that she intended to close the spirit portal at the South Pole, and promptly left the island on a flying bison.

Korra explains the upcoming Harmonic Convergence to Tenzin, soon after arriving to the Eastern Air Temple.
Remembering Tenzin's vacation itinerary, she tracked down the family at the Eastern Air Temple, where she was greeted by a shocked Tenzin and his family, pleasantly surprising them all. The wind user children excitedly ran up to her and hugged her. Even though she had parted on shaky grounds with Tenzin, Korra expressed how glad she was to see everyone, but she was surprised to learn that they were unaware of the events occurring elsewhere. Being implored to bring them up to speed with everything, Korra quickly shared the outlines of the situation with everyone, before retreating with Tenzin to one of the temple's gardens to discuss it more in depth. Korra blamed herself for the entire situation, but was corrected by Tenzin who pinned it all on Unalaq's hunger for power. In order to rectify her mistake of opening the Southern spirit portal, she needed to enter the Spirit World.

After Tenzin failed to guide her into the Spirit World, Korra is shocked to hear his sad admission that he had never entered it before.Together, Tenzin and Korra visited the stone garden where Aang and Guru Pathik had gone on a spiritual journey seventy one years prior, inspiring the young Avatar with confidence that she could enter the Spirit World. Although Tenzin's family helped to set the mood for meditation, neither Korra nor Tenzin could successfully meditate into the Spirit World, severely annoying the master wind release. After three failed attempts at three different locations, Korra inquired what was disturbing Tenzin, as he had snapped at Meelo, Kya, and her respectively each time their meditation failed. When he stated that nothing felt right to him, she opted to try whatever it was that he had done when he first crossed to the Spirit World. Much to her surprise, however, an ashamed Tenzin admitted that he had never done so, though he remained adamant that it was his destiny to guide the Avatar to the Spirit World and implored her to trust him. When Jinora offered an alternative by calling upon her dragonfly bunny spirits to reveal themselves, Korra inquired if the entities wanted to help them. Although Tenzin was reluctant to follow the spirits, she playfully brushed him off by stating that since the spirits had actually been to the Spirit World before, she was going to follow them.
As they followed the spirits down to the lower areas of the temple, Korra complimented Jinora's ability with spirits, deeming her to be lucky to have such a natural gift. When Jinora replied it was nothing compared to having met the first Avatar, Korra told her about her meeting with Wan. The subsequent realization that Jinora had been drawn to Wan's statue at the Southern Air Temple at exactly the same moment Korra had opened the Southern spirit portal awed both girls.

Korra successfully purifies dark monsters for the first time, utilizing Unalaq's technique. Arriving at a dilapidated ancient wind user meditation circle, Korra watched as Tenzin performed a cleansing ceremony to strengthen its connection to the Spirit World. However, the ritual drew out a swarm of bat-like dark monsters that immediately attacked the group. Korra tried to swat the entities away with her water jutsus, though it had no effect on them. Switching tactics, she surrounded the spirits with water streams in an attempt to purify them with Unalaq's technique and, for the first time, she managed to successfully turn the monsters back into light. As she dispersed the dark entities, she consequently cleaned their hold on the ancient site in the process, restoring it to its former glory. When Tenzin walked up to her and bitterly noted how much more effective Unalaq's teachings had been for her spiritual training than his own, Korra immediately put him at ease by emphasizing that he had trained her in order to help her, as opposed to doing it for personal gain. She proceeded to apologize for how she had treated him, expressing her regret over turning her back on him. When she stated that she needed him more than ever, Tenzin promptly stated that he would not let her down, and the two shared a hug.

Jinora guides Korra into the Spirit World in order to close the Southern spirit portal.
Believing in the site's spiritual connection, Tenzin confidently stated that if they were to meditate there, they would succeed to cross over, and Korra, knowing that it was the wind user's dream to succeed, offered him to go first, spending the remainder of the day waiting with the others. When it became apparent that it was not going to work, Korra emphasized that they were running out of time, urging her mentor to follow up on Kya's statement that it was Jinora's destiny to guide her into the Spirit World. Although Tenzin initially deemed it too dangerous for his daughter, he relented, and Korra was told to go on and close the portal, receiving the reassurance that her body would be kept safe until her return. The two girls sat down in lotus position opposite from one another and meditated. When Korra's eyes started to glow, they both crossed over to the Spirit World.

Agitated by Korra's energy, meerkat spirits attack her and Jinora, eventually causing the two girls to get separated.
Although Jinora was awestruck by the appearance of the Spirit World, Korra was more hesitant, alert for the presence of dark spirits. She startled upon touching a flower that morphed into a butterfly spirit, causing Jinora to chase it. Worried about the young girl's safety, Korra ran after her, though accidentally stepped into the hole of a meerkat spirit, angering the entity. Upon asked who she was, she pridefully announced that she was the Avatar, though it did not impress the multitude of meerkat spirits that were popping up from under the ground. The entities fired a multitude of questions at her; surrounded and agitated, Korra attempted to bend at the spirits, though was unable to since she had not entered the Spirit World through a portal. Although her attack was unsuccessful, the spirits were angered by the attempt and promptly attacked Korra; as they touched her, they morphed into a blue, dense substance, weighing her down. Korra called out to Jinora for help and was advised to calm down, as it was her own energy that was upsetting the spirits. However, even the young wind user was unable to free her from the spirits' attack, and when the meerkats all began running in a circle around them, Korra and Jinora found themselves sucked through the earth. They were dropped into a large body of water on another location, where they were instantly swallowed by another spirit, only to resurface again in a rapidly moving stream. As they approached a fork in the water, Korra was pushed in another direction as Jinora and ended up in a dark forest.

Feeling sad and alone, Korra's negative energy cast a dark glow on her surroundings, much to her own surprise.
Surrounded by dark spirits, Korra ran deeper into the forest, calling for Jinora. As she grew more desperate, she physically and emotionally changed to her four-year-old self, crying for the young wind user. She was startled when a young dragon bird spirit flew toward her, swatting at the entity out of reflex, causing the spirit to injure its wing. Noticing what she had done, she picked up the spirit and apologized, as she had not meant to hurt it. At that moment, she was approached by Iroh, whom she instantly recognized due to his close friendship with her predecessor, Aang. She was subsequently led out of the forest and invited to join the tea party in celebration of May-Jim's wedding. Iroh poured her a cup of tea, brewed in Wan's teapot, which Korra instantly recognized. However, when Iroh later explained how he had made new friend in the Spirit World, Korra grew sad over her separation from Jinora. The distraught Korra threw a tantrum; the negativity she displayed caused the skies to darken and the spirits to grow restless. After Iroh explained the impact of her emotions on her surroundings to her, Korra apologized and grew surprised over the fact that her positive attitude could literally bring out the sun. The elderly man added that if she sought the light, she would find it, but looking for the dark would mean that it is all she would ever see. Korra tried to apply what she had just learned to find Jinora, but Iroh stated that finding the young wind user would not be that easy. When Korra asked for advice, he imparted the wisdom that sometimes the best way to help oneself is to help others, recommending she took the dragon bird spirit home, pointed Korra toward its home atop Hai-Riyo Peak.
Iroh and Korra
Korra is reassured by Iroh that she has peace and light inside of her and as such has the ability to change her surroundings for the better.
Korra was accompanied by Iroh for a while, but when the scared girl asked him if he would accompany her, he squatted down and gently told her that she needed to make the trip on her own. He explained to her that the darkness she saw surrounding Hai-Riyo Peak was caused by the darkness and anger brought by the people who had been frequenting the Spirit World lately, but since Korra had light and peace within her, he pointed out that she could change the world around her. To prove his point, Korra was asked if she still thought the dragon bird was scary like she had upon their first encounter, and after she replied that it was not, Iroh noted that many things that seemed threatening in the dark would prove to be welcoming by shedding light on it. After embracing the old man, Korra received an invitation to visit him again, whether it was in her present life or her next incarnation.
Korra and the dragon bird spirit
By returning the wounded dragon bird spirit to its nest, Korra regains her normal physical and emotional state.
Korra ventured up the mountain by herself, chanting "light and peace" as a mantra to keep herself calm. When she encountered three dark lion dog spirits, she implemented Iroh's wisdom, forsaking her fear for the spirits' frightful appearance in favor of a positive attitude toward them. Korra introduced herself, her cheerful demeanor changing the spirits and her surroundings back to normal. She hitched a ride to the top of Hai-Riyo Peak on the back of one of the lion dog spirits, where she found the nest of the dragon bird spirit with three other young spirits. As she returned the wounded young to its nest, Korra watched in awe how the four entities emerged into one, large dragon bird spirit. When the spirit's transformation was completed, so was her own, as she had returned to her normal physical and emotional state. She mounted the flying spirit, who took her to the spirit portals.
Unalaq attempts to destroy Korra's spirit
Korra's soul is attacked by Unalaq.
As Korra was about to close the Southern portal, Vaatu called her to him, and addressed her as Raava. She was undeterred when he informed her that he would destroy her during the upcoming Harmonic Convergence, reiterating her goal to close the Southern portal. However, her confidence faltered when Unalaq revealed himself and Jinora as his prisoner. In order to save Jinora's soul, Korra relented and opened the Northern portal. When she demanded the young wind user's release in return, she was promptly attacked by Unalaq, who had retained his bending by entering physically through the Southern portal as opposed to spiritually though meditation. Unable to fight back, Korra tried her best to avoid his water blasts, though was powerless to stop Furry-Foot from taking off with Jinora. As she gave chase, she was snatched up and gnawed at by one of the lion dog spirits, who had turned dark again. Incapacitated, she was surrounded by water streams as Unalaq prepared to destroy her soul with his special technique. However, before he could fully execute his attack, Korra was saved and carried away to safety by the dragon bird spirit.
When she returned to her body in the mortal world, Korra panted in exhaustion, drawing the attention of a worried Tenzin. When he asked her several questions, she could only manage to utter an apology and look at Jinora's still body, whose soul was still trapped in the Spirit World.

NB History

After everything was better Korra set off to Sunagakure to learn how to use her elements better. When she arrived there she was welcomed in my her long friends Jacob Moore and KeotsuEclipse. She than found some random people wondering off the wind country border and ask them if they would want to join Sunagakure. These people turnt out to be Zoro, Rexii, Captain Bravo, Better, and Gingka. Seeing how Sungakure was kind of empty they had attempts to try to recruit people but at yet their attempts failed. After receiving a message hawk from his friends ~xtsukune~ and Xanthe and Hisoka..(from Iwa) Korra realized her Sunagakure days were finshed. On one night she grabbed her Sunagkure headband and put it in her bag and left for Kumogakure while riding on Naga. She arrived into Kumo thanks to the Kage Mugi. She was finally reunited with her friends and found out that Gingka and Better followed her to Kumo. Korra realizing these are her long lost friend Mig seduced convinced her to come to Kirigakure to join them. When Korra noticed the rest of the Kumo nin were leaving Mig gave her a scroll containing intel about getting out of Kumo. On her return to Kumo she met up with Shinta and told him about what happen with Mig and Tai. Shinta said he would go with Kiri and they both left on Naga to set off to Kiri. After something happen Korra arrived at Kiri by her self and Naga. She was greeted in by Alucard the Mizukage and all of her new friends. Everything was finally in peace but everything changed when Amegakure was created. (Though in reality I bugged them till I got in but shh >_>) For her first mission of being in Taka, after getting use to the lifestyle of looting and killing, Korra had to travel with the Yard and Howard and the new members of Taka Mr. Kitty and Omnom to her old village Sunagakure to bring Vision back to Amegakure. Once at Sunagakure, Taka met up with Akatsuki members Scarface, Vincent, and Wesobi to take down the village. As separate fights started to occur Korra fought the 1st Hokage and her friend Gusty Jiraya to the fight to the death. Though the fight was even Wesobi came in and the two overpowered him and defeated him. Wesobi then sealed his body and they left to meet with the others. Taka and Akatsuki got Vision and realized that Sunagakure was not going to fight anymore so they did what Vincent said. They burnt down Sunagakure and pissed on the ashes and then left with the explosions going off behind them in slow-mo like bosses and headed back to Amegakure. After heading back to Amegakure, Korra found a scroll revealing a location of a secret lab which she left to find. When she got there, she found many people experiment on and many LIZARDS all around when she met the person who did this RokuNR. She pleaded to him to let her be his senpai. He agreed though he said these words "You can be my senpai but heas theses words. No one has able to be my senpai without disappearing into the spirit world. If you break this curse I won't turn you into a lizard and I might show you true power". Korra then woke up back in her bad in Amegakure where Shinta said they found her outside Konoha unconscious. Korra then took on being Roku's senpai world but just that was able to beat the curse. Korra still looks to this day a way to find back Roku's lab so she can learn what true power is...... The curse seal has the appearance of a Black Heart placed on the right side of the members chest. When activated sealing scripts pour out of the heart and bind the body.
The secondary function of the seal is to completely this destroy the victim’s body. The function activates automatically upon Death but can also be forcefully triggered by a user of this technique. When activated, the Black heart on the chest breaks apart and splits into two. This makes the seal unstable and the effects extends to the victims body, the seal absorbs natural energy at an extreme rate quickly petrifying the victim into a statue form. This both kills the victim (If he’s alive) and completely destroys the D.N.A rendering the body unusable.
Alternatively, the technique could also be applied on opponents in the middle of battle by striking the chest. The seal has the same effects of paralysis and petrification even on Non-Valentines. Also, activating the seal against an opponent counts as one of the user's 3 jutsu per turn.
Note: Can only be 3 times per conflict.

Ring Of The Green Lantern: Korra wears her custom weapon called Ring of the Green Lantern on her left ring finger.

(Gurīnrantan No Ringu) Ring of the Green Lantern
Rank: S
Type: Atk/Def/Suppl
Range: Short
Chakra Cost N/A (40 for creating Tools/Weapons)
Damage Cost: N/A
Description: This Green Ring is worn by the user and glows bright green when activated. By channeling their chakra into the ring it glows bright green and can be used to create weapons like hammers, swords, kunai, and shields made up of pure chakra that stay connected to the ring by a chakra chain. When creating a shield the shield can block up to B rank elemental jutsus (withing reasonable size) and ninja tools. If the shield goes against a A rank jutsu the shield will block it but be destroyed and will automatically loose to S rank jutsus.
Note: Have to be taught how to use the ring by Korra
Note: When creating weapons and shields it counts as a move.
Note: If the ring comes off the user it deactivates and the user must wait 3 turns so it can charge.

Korra's Equipment: As a member of Amegakure, Korra has access to its armoury. From there Korra will occasionally bring a battle enhanced Umbrella that can only be operated by a member of Amegakure:
Senbon Shower: releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra. Although the needles are said to be able to pierce a five millimetre thick steel sheet, they can still be blocked by a powerful enough shield. Medical ninja can dip their senbon with poison to increase their lethality.
Shield: The cover of the umbrella is made up of metallic threads, capable of defending against weak physical attacks and projectiles.
Added Modification: Wires, the rib-cage of the umbrella could be modified to shoot out wires from the end. This could be used to bind targets.
Korra also has on both of her wrist Hidden Blades was used for both stealth assassinations and regular combat. It consisted of a retractable blade, usually in conjunction with a protective bracer. As such, the blade could be discreetly extended or retracted, making it a valuable tool for assassinations.
