Obito's jutsu comes from combining 4/5 elements since he has the rinnegan and was the juubi's host, it has nothing to do with him being uchiha since hiruzen already stated it's similar to jinton.

Jinton turns anything to nothing simply because of it's ability to manipulate molecules, Madara's susanoo has no such effects. If it did the mountains that PS cut would vanish and disintegrate but they didn't, They only got damaged/Destroyed. Even in one of the scans out posted hashirama caught the sword with mokuton.

Mokuton is something within creation yet it was able to block this said "creation destroyer"

if susanoo was chakra Onoki would say : that enormous chakra monster have been stabilized and not that enormous monster's chakra.
