A girl from my village - she was 14 at that time - witnessed the hacking of her father at the hands of strangers over lands. They literally hacked him to death. You know what happened to her? She was mentally unstable for most part of her life and only managed to stabilize in her late twenties.

She used to wake up screaming at night and many a times, she ran out into the open without any recollection of it. what a *****, right? Cry baby. Should have gotten over it. After all, they only hacked a single person. Sasuke was only 7. That's half that girl's age and he witnessed the slashed and stabbed bodies of ALL his kith and kin and to top it off, it was done by his own brother. Then he proceeded to torture him with detailed images of their slaughter. And you people state that he doesn't even have a right to shed a tear or two over such inhuman treatment at the hands of his brother? Wow, just wow.

I get that a lot of you are retarded, but this is sick beyond belief. Or maybe, you people have no feelings for your own Kin. The fact that this kid even went to school after such an incident is mind-boggling. This incident would have driven grown men insane. I swear it. The way you people slight slaughter is sickening to the core. Absolutely sickening. Nagato formed Akatsuki and had friends. Sasuke was a loner and had no one he could trust or lean on.

Whilst, in no way I am slighting Nagato's plight, as it's very saddening, but it doesn't compare to Sasuke's.

- Has everything a boy of his age could want.
- It's all taken away from him all at the age of 7. I'd much rather not of known family, not of known those feelings then have it all taken away.
- Not just his mother and father, but his friends aunts, uncles, everyone in his clan was brutally murdered
- Weren't killed by random Leaf Ninja, but by his own loving brother, or so he thought.
- Is mentally tortured to relive the experience over and over again, sees his parents dead body's
- Is manipulated into believing revenge is what matters, that he's an avenger
- Is scared to make friends out of fear of losing everything again. This is why he ignored a lot of the love he got, he didn't want It
- Team 7 starts to become his focus and he finds that he can actually have friends without fear. Until Itachi comes back and sets him back on the path of revenge.
- Itachi mind****s him again, this time putting him into a coma.
- After years of training, pain, and searching he finds Itachi "Kills him" only to find out that his own village ordered his clan to be wiped out and that Itachi always loved him.
- Sasuke wants revenge on the elders and the village. The elders ordered to kill the entire clan, that includes all the innocent people that had nothing to do with the coup. Sasuke wants to get even.


Nagato had it rough, but Sasuke's whole life has been shit.

How is it possible to say that one of them knows greater pain, when both the lost the same thing. Nagato lost his family and basically killed his best friend. Sasuke lost family and killed his brother who was looking out for him the whole time.
They both lost their family and they both killed the most important person to them. Just because sasuke family was bigger, doesn't mean his lose is greater.

Ex. Person(A) as one person who is the only family he had. He didn't know his mom or dad and this one person in his life is his whole family. Person(B) has a big family. Both lose their whole family in a tragic way. Does Person(B) know more pain because his family was bigger than Person(A)?

Let's see: Nagato loses his parents, best friend killed himself.
Sasuke loses his whole clan, finds out his own brother killed them, then proceeds to have the whole massacre replayed to him through Tsukuyomi. Eventually avenges his clan, only to find out that his brother was forced to do it, by the very village that he lived and fought for.

Even as die hard Nagato fan, I have to say Sasuke went through more. They are similar, but Sasuke had to relive it OVER AND OVER AND OVER, due to Itachi's torment. Nagato, while living in a poor country, at least had his friends to fall back on after it happened, and he didn't lose Konan and he got revenge on Hanzo rather quickly.

By the way Sasuke didn't do anything. Itachi died on his own. All Sasuke did in the end was Trembling.

I never said Sasuke killed him. I said he wanted to and he still watched him die right in front of him. Also afterward he was filled with regret once he knew the truth. This is a bad life.
