653 - Obito and Shinju vs Sage Madara vs Shinobi Alliance
654 - Battle continues; Sasuke receives more Curse Chakra, Hiruzen goes SM, Orochimaru goes SM; The combined Senjutsu of Naruto, Sasuke, Obito, Madara, Hashirama, Hiruzen, and Orochimaru temporarily stuns/stimulates the Shinju
655 - Fruit of the God Tree grows, someone takes the fruit, not revealed who.

But seriously, 1st chapter, Naruto and Sasuke get into a fierce battle with Obito, it's shown, minimal fodder appearances.

2nd, Oro and the Three Hokage do epic-ass shit, cutting out huge chunks of the tree. Juugo and Suigetsu help a bit. Karin gives Juugo and Suigetsu advice as they do.

3rd Chapter, Madara sees the tree is falling, reveals trump card to be Amaterasu/Susano'o combo, similar to Sasuke's and pushes past Hashirama for a moment, is able to harm and push back those attacking the tree, delaying its fall

4th chapter, Madara and Hashirama confront each other again

5th chapter, more Sasuke/Naruto vs Obito

Have a 5 chapter flashback about Obito's past emphasizing that Naruto is the "good" version of him. Then I'd end that 5 chapter flashback with Naruto and Sasuke landing a hit on Obito.
