They aren't natural, but instead spiritual weapons. Most likely formulated from the Creation of All Things technique. They require ninjutsu to become present on the battlefield... Considering the enemy can erase ninjutsu, they are countered by losing their base medium at the very least.

That being said... Yeah, Obito likely will get trolled. Notice he hasn't used virtually any Rinnegan technique. He'll end up dying pulling a last minute change of heart :/

You saw that naruto will gonna be dead and he was useless against nagato and you saw how useless nagato was against itachi .
Naruto is so dump and his intelligence is no where near to itachi while their power are close to each others and I can't deny that naruto has more chakra than itachi ..

CORRECTION : There weren't 80,000 Edos. Those were Zetsu clones to begin with. Also there were 1,00,000 Zetsus and 80,000 Shinobis. Edo were within 50.

Kishi played his pieces very nicely by Removing the OP like Itachi. Itachi did what was his duty as well as his last request.
Hokages aren't interfering much with the Juubito now. As well as Hashirama is still keeping his legendary rival Madara at bay.
And about the rest of the Alliance, they were reduced to numbers now. Kishi is removing the characters which are not needed to be contributing in the future like Itachi, Neji, Shikaku, Ino's father etc. Their place is taken by Sasuke, Hinata, Shikamaru, Ino etc. Sakura is going to take Tsunade's place. Also Naruto has been placed in Jiraiya's seat in the last chapter.
SO this isn't a picinic. If you wanna experience the Fourth Great Shinobi war, then read the whole war from the start. But I know you'll be saying you don't have time for that. Then stay on your seat and take a popcorn. Because now it's not gonna be a picnic for you anymore from here on.

The good side isn't only comprising of main characters. There were 80,000 shinobis fighting and now, there reduced to 1000s. Kishi can't make every panel for the dead shinobis.
Shikamaru and Tsunade are still breathing because they still have their purpose to live.
Neji was already called a genius and he lived for protecting Hinata and following Naruto. His purpose was served. SO he's dead now. His death also brought a change, we got to see a resolved Naruto.

It's the readers who are considering them as the fodders, but the only one shining are the main characters. SO it would be obvious that less number of the main character die. Otherwise, Kishi won't be having the characters to draw further Also he can't pull a Rinne Tensei on the whole Shinobi Alliance. Main characters will die when their purpose in the manga is over, otherwise they won't.
And I don't think that this War Arc is the final arc. This arc is just the climax arc which will decide the future arcs in the manga.
