Naruto Manga a Legendary Manga?

Nope, Naruto is still quite small compared to Pokémon. And to be honest, the war arc was just horrible:

- Manguitsu got a lot of hype, but nothing more. Same applies more or less for all other Edo hidden mist 7 swordsmen.
- Edo Jinchuurikis got trolled by BM Naruto
- Edo kages got trolled big time, I still cant understand how Gaara, KCM Naruto and Oonoki were able to beat them. It all fellt like ultimate plot no jutsu
- Edo Akatsuki got trolled, Sasori had no pupppets, Deidara had almost no clay, Nagato's mobility wasnt recovered and Kakuzu got lolstomped by Chojí.
- Kabuto, he had no chance at all and he showed all those cool stuff like Dragon SM and all the KG which he stole from the sound 4
- Random characters like Kikaku and Shikaku who suddenly have the chakra of the kyuubi + "So6P items"



I can go on with the list, but yeah the previous arc really was a big misstake IMO and I will definitely not buy the manga volumes of that arc.

Do you guys think by the time Naruto ends, it will be hailed as a legendary manga? Will it be talked about in the same breath as Dragonball, Death Note, One Piece (I'm sure this one will be, no matter how badly Oda screws up from here, which he won't), etc. despite going downhill for sometime now? Maybe enough time needs to pass before we can decide this. I just hope Kishi can rework the old magic again before the manga ends...

let me put it this way, naruto as a series gave us a couple of seriously well written characters (itachi for example) but the war arc is not that impressive if you ask me (had a lot of potential).

it's too soon to call it "legendary"/wait for the ending but, one thing is for sure, it will never be as big as DBZ (lost a lot of it's originality in shippuden).

Death Note can easily be considered a benchmark and a manga looked up to in its genre, very much like DB. Yes I would call it a legend. As I said earrlier, One piece becoming a legend is almost certain.

I guess DB was the one that started it all. It was great. But sometimes I wonder how popular Bleach, One Piece or naruto would have been if they were in DB's place. Sometimes I'm inclined to think that atleast two of them could have achieved more success than DB.

As I said its popularity has already gained legendary status. "They" are the nielsen ratings that the United States goes by to show the popularity of any show. Naruto has already attained DragonballZ status if not surpassed it in the United States.

this does not explain why it is the worst idea ever. just because something seems ridiculous to you doesn't make it the worst idea ever if anything it helps explain why mokuton is so freaking op so in that sense its a good idea
