Smoke Bombs- This are less of attack but more for defense, You can throw a smoke bomb for the opponent to lose sight of you, From there you can retreat or do a snick attack. A great example is how Naruto fought pain, He used smoke bombs to cover his presence and then threw a rasenshuriken to damage and destroy one of the pains. So with clever strategy this can be a awesome tool to use for battle.

Tags- This are more of attacking then anything else. What is great about them is how fast you can ignite them with just one hand seal. Tags mainly generate fire as well, So if need be when a tag activates near an opponent you can send wind towards it to make the flames more powerful. My favorite method in the Naruto series is how amazing he used them to take Hidan down. If you remember he lured Hidan in the area he set them up. By the time he got in the area where the tags were there was no chance for escape. I also think they can be used to push an opponent back who is pressing you in close range battle. Just throwing so on the floor will make the opponent react and force himself to push back.

Flashes- Very similar to smoke bombs, There main purpose is to momentarily blind the opponent. Again this has little real attacking threat but used for defensive and supplementary purposes. You can blind the opponent to retreat or even get a jutsu ready that takes some time to perform.

"You are always welcome here. To sum it up we have been working on how to make a clone and about the importance of ninja tools in combat.

If you want to start right away you can begin by making me a clone. I need you to close your eyes, and focus the chakra inside you. Channel that energy, with your imagination, into a tangible form known as your clone. Now mind you that this clone is just an illusion. A Bunshin if you will. Kage Bunshin you will learn in Ninjutsu class once you have started training after becoming a Genin. All we are working on here is basic academy jutsu and about battle. If you need anymore questions feel free to ask. That is why we are here. If you require more personal instruction either Me, Dragyz, or Noni will be more than happy to abide.

So start off with making a bunshin. Describe to me what you feel throughout the whole process. One of the key elements to training is being able to share your experiences with your instructor. "Funny thing about that is that the clone you made is just an illusion not a real form. If you were to engage in any activity with it you would be wasting your time. It isn't a Kage Bunshin, Bijuu-kun. Anyways, it seems you have quite the imagination. However that won't help you much if you don't put it to good use.

The clone you made was right on the money however you were supposed to make a clone of yourself not someone else. If you that is what your real form is then may I ask why the guise? But irregardless you brought up a good point. Espionage and tactics. As a ninja you are expected to be quite adept at being able to conceal your identity and gather the information you need or are required to retrieve. Whether that involves you changing gender role, your costume, or your behavior. Remember well that these fallacies can be discovered if you break character. So pay attention and focus.
