But I'm not counting KA.
How many times did he actually die? Once.

I'd say his biggest threats would be Oonoiki or Gaara....though only Gaara for his fighting style.
Jinton could be a very big problem for Danzo.
But yeah if you add in KA...yeahhhhh he kinda is. I'd say he was number 1 or 2

i dont care how many op techs a character has if they can waste all their izangis in one fight you aint doing to well and if you look at how obito used izanagi he used when he needed to yet danzo used it like a substitution the only thing he has going for him is ka which helps hide his lack of skill

First off, bear in mind he was a 72-year-old man going up against a 17-year-old Mangekyo Sharingan user. Would you not use Izanagi? And even still he had to hold back due to Tobi being there. On top of that, Izanagi was just a cover until Kotoamatsukami recharged.

okay this is the thing you seem to think a check list is all it takes to put a character over another, all danzo shown in his fight against sasuke was that he is reckless with izanagi he used them all in one fight and still came out the loser because he relyed on izanagi to much
so how do you think he would do against the raikage who fights in a very brutal way and despite the way he acts he isnt dumb the raikage would pressure danzo like no other could and all danzo could do is izanagi granted danzo may have a chance with his wind techs seeing how wind> lightning but if ays armor is anything like his fathers then danzo will need top wind techs but i dont see danzo winning and the only argument that makes danzo win is ka manly because we dont know the workings of the tech so its hard to counter that

Danzo's greatest weakness was his pride. He casually used forbidden jitsu, never really testing it or seeing its full abilities before combat. If he does not fall into that and intelligently uses the jitsu he is a powerful force.
Now he, himself, without any "augments" has powerful wind ninjitsu and 1 summon.
vs. A- lighting ninjitsu his only defense is his speed. He has short range tie-jitsu and with Danzo's forbidden jitsu and short-long range wind ninjitsu Danzo will most likely win.
vs. Oni- Danzo has more chakara then Oni but Oni has Dust release./ flying abilities. so most of Danzo's jitsu will not hit/Danzo's only defense is his forbidden jitsu... which runs out fairly quick. So Oni would most likely win.
vs. Mei- It would not be a hard battle for her all she has to do is capture Danzo and use boil release to melt him until his forbidden jitsu runs out. She has the type advantage with fire release... and another three to boot. and she has about the same amount of chakara.
Vs. Garra- He has less experience but wind jitsu vs. wind jitsu is almost pointless. so the only real thing to do is catch garra off gaurd and "slip thorough the sand" and kill him right there. Danzo would probably win this.

No, I'm just reminding you of the moves he's shown.
Izanagi was a cover for KA to recharge.
How does he handle A?
Well, as you said, Wind > Lightening. Izanagi would fool A.
And the Baku beats A.

Against Onoki, I doubt he can use Jinton 10 times in a fight. Danzō simply outlasts him.
Against Mei, Futon blows away the mist. He merely needs to keep his distance.

Well he's hardly sh*t is he, the guy lifted a meteor and an island without his back breaking and fought Sasuke, Deidara, Madara and Muu off pretty well too considering the circumstances. He's clearly not out for the count.

no, ka was used because its danzo only way to keep up with sasuke and forbidden techniques shouldnt be tossed around so carelessly and the fact is danzo was not as skillful when it came to a fight with sasuke and if he was as strong as you make him out to be then all his izanagi wouldn't have been used up and if danzo thinks he can take on "madara" with only ka then he is just to full of himself

I honestly don't think so. We know Danzō can use Izanagi up to ten or eleven times (Shisui's eye).
Can Onoki last that long? I mean, he can't spam Jinton, so...

Onoki stopped a meteor so that makes him better than Danzō? Not at all. He merely has access to a Jutsu Danzō doesn't have.
KA was Danzō's only way to keep up with Sasuke? Obviously not, seeing how their fight lasted 5 chapters or so and he never got to use KA.
I feel you simply don't like Danzō because you are simply denying his power.
Fact of the matter is, Ay, Tsunade, and Mei have no counter for the Baku and Danzō outlasts Onoki.
You'll disagree, but whatever floats your boat.

The Baku is actually pretty dang dangerous when Danzo uses it. It's hard enough not to get sucked in, but even then if Danzo attacks from behind, his Futons only become amplified. He was stripping off layers of Susano'o with such attacks and was going in for the kill. Sasuke had a very convenient counter (wind amplified Katon + Susano'o defense) but not everybody has that luxury. He can sprout a Mokuton defense even faster than it takes for 3 hand seals though he doesn't seem especially stable when using this power.
I also wonder how many people understand the mechanics in his suicide fuinjutsu.. hard to know for sure. They're Kage so they should have hefty knowledge but again who knows >_>

yes wind does beat lightning but like i said if ays armor is anything like his fathers who survived a rasenshuriken then danzos wind techs aint doing much plus danzo has ays speed to put up with which i doubt danzo could keep up with ay has danzo beat
and using izanagi for ka just seems dumb to me why waste 10 sharingan to have one shot with ka so after that fight if danzo had won he would have become a hopeless old man with one sharingan that can only be used once per day damn great plan danzo hes so talented
