who have much more in his arsenal than fast beheading and counters for kamui

Kakashi Kamui's Itachi. GG. Itachi has no counter. All of Itachi's Katon's are countered by Doton, same with Itachi's suiton. Genjutsu is countered by sharingan. Tsukuyomi is countered by Bunshin or range. Kamui is un counter able by Itachi.

Well, if we're talking about the past then Itachi > Kakashi. However Kakashi has improved alot on his weakness and abilities as of now. He can use Kamui more times than he could then and perhaps he's also discovered better ways of countering sharingan genjutsu. So only thing which will be a problem will be Tsukuyomi, for which he just won't look into Itachi's eyes. He'll probably troll Itachi with a bunshin if Amaterasu hits him. Which leaves to Itachi activating Susano. Kamui tears apart the Susano along with Itachi's head. XD Yah, Kakashi wins this.
