All the kunoichi are with the shinobi army. The SA is no match for the juubi at this point and will probably stay in the background for the remainder of the fight and maybe even the rest of the manga. This fight is about Naruto, Sasuke, and Minato.

And when Hashi and Madara fight, there will probably be no kunoichi involved there either.

As for the chapter sucking, I agree somewhat. All we got was Naruto/Sasuke being saved by Minato. I was hoping for a little more to happen. Frankly, I don't want to see any more Obito flashbacks and can't wait to see him sealed soon. But I guess this is setting up Minato's reveal that it was Obito who was responsible to the Kyuubi attack on the village when Naruto was born.

I hope you read what I wrote because this is what is called constructive criticism. You might want to try it.

he spent over 500 chapters focusing on male characters. He's gay.

Its a shounen manga not a shoujo. If you want a manga with mostly female main characters read something else. Claymore might suit you more as the main character is female. I'm sure if you ask nicely you will get recommendations from others.

Kishi is focussing on Obito and Minato's development. He did character development for the females i.e. Sakura and Hinata a few chapters ago. So he is changing it up a bit.

So, it seems that kishi forgot how to draw KCM Minato's hair, it looked weird. Either way, obito regained control, thinking of rin, as always. The rikudou's staff, that apparently comes as gift for controlling the juubi, because it came out of freaking nowhere.
I think obito is becoming a stupid character. All he thinks about is rin, and that gives him a buff to overpower any kind of mind or body control. Obito's control over the juubi was a little bit of an "asspull", but his body shattering, representing his kind, was kind of cool. Another OP atack for juubito, now obito again. But, overall, it was a good chapter.
