because when deidara uses his strongest attack he dies. hidan would just be pissed off scattered all over the place if they were to fight.

Mine would either be Kakuzu or Kisame. While the other two are certainly strong. I feel as if Kisame and Kakuzu stand out a bit more, and have a tad better balanced and over all skilled.

Out of favortism I would pick Kisame, but Kakuzu could easily take the spot himself. But, other wise regarding Kisame as the first/second strongest here; his ability to hamper any opponent he fights by sucking their chakra is an overlooked ability. He may not have regular counters for everything. But something that people forget is, that he could prevent some dangerous jutsu by simply taking either too much chakra for it to use, or to the point where you'd be left drained.

The fact that he can turn nearly any environment into a region where he has the advantage, his shark styled jutsu like five feeding sharks, and the thousand version are great for capturing the opponents. That, and Great Shark Bomb is a great offensive jutsu that could come in handy against any opponent; capable of ridding them of their most dangerous jutsu more often then not.

Kisame or Kakuzu take the top spot for sure, its not even debatable lol

Although i think i'll give the edge to Kakuzu today,

The fact that he literally just overwhelms anyone and everyone he faces off against in number and destructive power,he also has one of the best defenses there are in the manga,combined with the requirements of killing him 5 times , when killing him once his hard enough U_U Kakuzu is a force to be reckoned with and is too often underrated by NB

First of all... Sasori can poison the hell out of everyone and bring out an army of his own. Is arguably the most intelligent of my top and the fastest of them all... I don't see Kisame drown him, nor see I Kakuza get close enough to deliver a fatal blow.

2nd and 3rd place is shared by Kisame and Kakuza. While I see Kisame beat/drown Kakuza or drain him, Kakuza is a very decent all rounder against almost anyone.

Deidara has very high potential, but his anger gets the best of him. The best he comes up with in the end is a draw.

I'm not going to have to explain why Kakuzu is there, but I'll have to explain why Sasori is on par with him.

First, Deidara admitted inferiority to Sasori. Some say he was just trying to get Kakashi to leave, but they can't really prove that. So we have to take it seriously.

Also, Sasori is the most well rounded Ninja in this situation. Kakuzu and Kisame have a 32.5/40, while Sasori has a 34.5/40. Stats don't mean everything, like you guys should know. But I was wanting to point out to some members that have said Kakuzu or Kisame is the most well rounded.

Sasori has one life, while Kakuzu has five. That puts Sasori in a bad spot. But, Kakuzu has 5 masks and Sasori has 100 puppets. That would cause Kakuzu to have to be looking around a lot, while Sasori has to figure out how to kill him five times. In this regard, it's basically 80 puppets vs four masks and Sasori+19 puppets vs Kakuzu. Kakuzu is in a battle of numbers, while Sasori has to worry about getting hit once.

Many of Sasori's puppets have weapons on them, and Kakuzu's masks are connected to stitches. Sasori can literally cut through his stitches and send poison through Kakuzu. Which takes away Kakuzu's doton defense. But, Kakuzu can also use wind and fire style to destroy the chakra strings connected to the puppets, and if it comes down to Sasori vs Kakuzu, it's game over and Sasori get's heart stolen.

Sasori is smarter. but Kakuzu has more experience. So it basically comes down to "Can Kakuzu survive against all the puppets without getting poisoned or killed by the 3rd Kazekaage and/or Hiruko) or "can sasori poison him on time)

Both were very similar characters in terms of abilities, though kind of on opposite ends. Above all, they both were trolled badly (Sasori more though) The first time was his fault though, "I wanna be hugged by my mommy".

This is why I believe they're equal. They're literally some of the most dangerous to fight against in Akatsuki and are pretty much equal either way.

I agree man, Sasori is tremendously underrated. My list goes like this

But honestly I feel Sasori might be above the other three, he just hasn't been able to fully show it.

Well Kakuzu has a near unbeatable defence - this in itself makes him a force to be reckoned with, but now add the five elements and arguably [after Samsara and Edo Tensei] the most powerful kinjutsu ever. He has one of the, if not the most powerful offence and one of the, if not the most powerful defence. He is also intellectually superior to most of the Ninja-World and is experienced so this is what places Kakuzu in his own tier above the rest of the Akatsuki minus Itachi, Obito, Kisame and Nagato.

Samehada can essentially stop any attack.. sure Kisame may not have the sufficient counters to everything or whatever, but he can stop it but taking the chakra before it becomes a true threat. Kisame is also extremely powerful and his suiton is unmatched. He can almost one-shot anyone with GSB if he wanted to.. Not to mention Kisamehada who is a completely different story. Tbh, I would place them as a tie.. If they fought each other, one would win 5 out of 10 times while the other does too.. It's too close to call..

I partially disagree with them being in a league of their own. Sasori is easily comparable to both of them. In a no intel fight for all of them, it would be much harder to take down Sasori because he can just swap his heart between any puppet he wants.
