i don't think the first situation in chunin exam was " saving " it's just "encouragement"

not like with pain , she interfered in the fight obviously and saved him

and when naruto flashbacks while talking he remembers the time with pain only although he said twice

well i gave you my 2 cents. That's the best i have. Only other sits i can give is maybe there was something she did when they bumped into tobi, but i don't remember anything of that sort.

that is not saving

That's what he meant.

She saved him psychologically. How you fail to realize something so obvious is amazing.

*Doesn't accept answer*

"Plothole!"

Oh NB, you never fail to entertain.....

The only other save would be the thing you personally do not consider saving.

Naruto was walking towards that stadium completely defeated. He clearly was head low and feeling like he was about to get pimp slapped. Hinata then told Naruto how she thinks he's strong with her proud failure and then he was back to the Number One Knucklehead Ninja we know.

Had she not "saved" him from his craptacular outlook...Neji would have roflstomped....

So she saved him once emotionally and once literally.

As for him showing no appreciation...

1. Part I Naruto is denser than part II Naruto....so he doesn't have intelligence to help.

2. No time. After his fight, Hinata's having heart problems....Konoha gets invaded. Following the fighting, Naruto is in the hospital and Hinata is probably in the Hyuga compound on forced rest. Following that Naruto chases down Sasuke to the valley of the end...and then part I ended.

So he really didn't have any time. And to have randomly thanked her at a point during part II would make no sense until then....because the only other time would've been the Search for Sasuke, but they had to focus on Sasuke.

honestly i'm not sure 100% that the first time was saving i feel it more like encouragement , and naruto flashbacking only pain makes the sentence look more bad actually, looked like random speech or sth

it's just one time not twice:rage: ( what's wrong with saying it's one time he will look grateful too )

i'm guessing u didn't realize the sarcasm....You're not kishi. If Naruto said twice its twice

we know about the time with pain , but what is the second time?

the first time she saved him was when she gave him that medicine after he beat Kiba...
she was trying to flirt with him in a shy yet useful way.

i'm not denying hinata's encouragement and not underestimating what she does for naruto

but i really noticed that when i watched the anime and i was like " what's the second time ?"

can't we all agree it was a mysterious sentence , what makes us sure about the chunin exam too , it's just our assumptions that we aren't sure about , the sentence left us in the air

i guarantee all of u begin to say the chunin exam after searching into the manga time after time which leads again to weak sentence said incorrectly U_U

IN A WAY.. by showing him lots of love she made him feel like people care about him although he usually only included his team 7 members & Iruka sensei.... ,but im sure he included the K12 & now the whole Leaf Village perhaps.

put the touching speech aside , be practical

The "proud failure" speech was definitely the first time....I don't see why you choose to ignore that :yayy:
