what if Itachi lied to Kisame about Jiraiya

Well its pretty much known that Itachi and Kisame were talking about how if they fought Jiraiya all three of them would die and that sort of thing.

But i dont know how much that adds up, What i mean is how much stronger is Jiraiya than Orochimaru because i do relise that Jiraiya is stronger but Itachi took out Orochimaru with little to no effert with the genjutsu when Orochimaru tried to take his body and when Orochimaru was hit with genjutsu. Also Orochimaru said, when talking to Kabuto after the leaf village attack failed, "Itachi is stronger than me thats why i pulled my self out of that organization."

So Itachi>Orochimaru, But if Itachi and Kisame took on Jiraiya i cant see Jiraiya winning even though he is insanly strong so is Itachi and Kisame.

Now that we know that Itachi was on the leafs side what if Itachi just said that to get out of fighting Jiraiya, for 2 reasons. 1- Maybe Itachi didnt want to kill an incredible ninja from the leaf and 2- maybe using the genjutsu on the girl was Itachis way of failing on purpose, he could have known Jiraiya would have known it was a trap so than he wouldnt of had to face him directly and Jiraiya would save the day when Naruto is in trouble

because if he gets killed by a random ninja or something the kyuubi is lost for the akatsuki

1 orichimaru is not dead

2 the sharingun is a strong weapon even deiara was awere of this too but rebember the 8 tails the getjutsu didt work him cus he had the 8 tails jiraya would reflec the sharingun with a summon

Did i say Orochimaru was dead? Nope
And the summons dont work the same way as bijuus as far as we know, that only worked for the 8 tails because the 8 tailed chakra was inside him and he could acess it whenever. With a summon if your under genjutsu like Itachis you wont be able to summon anything

You dont seem to understand my theory, Itachi ran away on purpose, He failed the mission to capture naruto on purpose, he didnt want to kill Jiraiya. Hes not going to kill one of the leafs strongest ninja when he is secretly on konahas side. He wont let akatsuki have naruto because than the world would be destroyed essentially. If he wanted to get naruto he would have grabbed him the moment naruto opend the apartment door. Itachi had it all planned out

Everyone is weak against the sharingan genjutsu except someone with a sharingan just as powerful or more

well...we know that itachi actually is or was a good guy, and we hate to fight.... and he still love the village and jiraiya was a konoha ninja, so he don't kill him.
and jiraiya and oro was bestfriend before, so maybe ero-sen have (bestfriend) feelings for oro, so he couldn't really fight oro....that's i belive in.

ok yeah if jiraiya does not fight in sage mode hands down kisame could probably kill him
itachi would just use his genjustsu(know the name cant spell for shit lol)
BUT if jiraiya was in sage mode
he would have the two sage frogs hellzzz yeah
plus he has summons to fight with
best thing he could use is his summons to keep itachi not using his eyes against jiraiya and kisame back the **** up lol
after that he can apply the frog genjustu then win win win win

sasuke would beat jiraiya. jiraiyas gaint rasengan wouldnt even hit sasuke hes too quick. sasuke would use jiraiyas giant fire move to active kirin.

why are people saying jiraiya cant be affected by genjutsu. sharingan is the most superior genjutsu tool. no one can break the genjutsu unless you have sharingan. even kakashi could do nothing about it.
