If you've been rammed by another man, you're gonna get second thoughts about your sexuality, in that regard I agree. Prisons produce gays and having no mix of gender doesn't help either, sometimes even the warden or the guard want their way with you. If you ain't got protection you're fcked, in more ways then one and I speak from experience...I'm a black person.

Our prisons are not about reforming people to lead normal lives upon exit

The system is terrible they just throw people in a cell and let them tear each other apart

BUT ,when you don't regulate the facilities or lay down the law then criminals will do what criminals do and of course criminal behavior with be on a larger scale if the building the criminal activity that its happening in is filled with criminals and when criminals do criminal activity there is bound to be sexual assault and since they do not mix males and females together then the logical conclusion is ? that the sexual assault administered by a male will be inflicted on another male

I would not put it past them

Criminals aren't exactly looked upon as equal to a say a guy who goes to work raises a family and stays out of trouble and population numbers are a real threat so it wouldn't be a crazy thing to say that goverments could care less about criminals when weighed against the rest of the population
