Naruto: *Pant, Pant* Now this is the end, no more games!

As Naruto was pushing forward with his last remaining strength and will, the barrier around the two suddenly began to crack, as several pieces began to fall off from it. Seeing this, Sasuke fired up an attack, trying to cease the opportunity that had presented itself.
Konohamaru: What is going on?! Why is the barrier-...
Sasuke: Damn it, my Chidori is not able to break through, it's still too strong!
Shikamaru: What if we try to aim an attack through that small gap over there!
Pointing to a spot where a tiny bit of the barrier had started to crumble, Shikamaru was just about to come up with a plan when Rock Lee busted in.
Rock Lee: It's only a matter of the impact your attack creates. Allow me to demonstrate!
Shikamaru: Lee, I don't think you shoul-...
Rock Lee: Dynamic Entry!!
Still firing off an attack nonetheless, Rock Lee aimed straight for the crumbling barrier in front of himself as he hit it with full force. As he made impact however, he was, just like before, recoiled from the barrier as he landed on his back again.
Rock Lee: Ugh...
Shikamaru: Geez, what did I tell you... It didn't work before, so why would it work n-...?!
Rock Lee: Haha, you see?! It worked!!
Suddenly in front of them, a minor hole had appeared, as Rock Lee's attack seemed as if successful.
Sasuke: I can't believe that actually worked...
Shikamaru: Can anyone squeeze through that??
Konohamaru: Damn, I can't let you beat me to it Lee, allow me to show you how it's really done! Futon; Rasenshuriken!!
As Konohamaru fired up an attack, so did several other members of the alliance, including Sasuke, Shikamaru and Rock Lee, as they tried to speed up the pace of the crumbling barrier. Inside the barrier however, Kabuto was lying on the ground not moving a single muscle, almost as if all the bones in his body was shattered. Naruto came closer and closer to him as flashes of his life went through Kabuto's head.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): My body... What a force and impact that attack had, I can barely move... Is this the end?? Unstoppable, god-like powers... It's impossible, it just can't be. Me, Yakushi Kabuto, defeated? What was my purpose in this world if I am to die here, what was the meaning of everything I've done and accomplished??
Almost as if he began to question his own motives, 100rds of thoughts went through his head as he slowly turned it to the side, seeing Naruto incoming right at him. It felt like time stopped before him, as Naruto was moving in slow motion towards him. Rolling over on his stomach, Kabuto forced himself a bit up from the ground with his arms as he looked at Naruto.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): Have I no means to win this fight, isn't there anything I can do to defeat Naruto?? All my Edo Tensei, the Sage of Six Paths himself, even my own powers... pale compared to his... I should have ceased the opportunity when I still could... At this rate, I'm going to... die?? Everything I've sent at him, and he's still going... And he's doing this for the ones he cares about, his friends, his family... Is that the only thing that drives him forwards? Finding peace?? Have I gone at it the wrong way??...
In a blink of the eye, Naruto pierced the Master Sword through Kabuto's chest, as it came out the back of him. Blood gushed down from his mouth as his body slowly began to disappear, as if getting sealed into the sword, little by little, until he was completely gone.
Naruto: This is the end, farewell, Yakushi Kabuto...
Kabuto (In Thoughts): ?! No... It can't end like that?!
Still lying on the ground, Kabuto's mind snapped back to reality as Naruto was still charging towards him with the Master Sword in his hand, ready to strike him down.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): I don't want to die... Not like this, not before I know who I am, my own identity?! If I don't do anything, what I just saw is going to... happen... I can't get sealed away to that dimension, the same as the Sage!! Urushi... what have I done?! I... I...
Clutching his head in despair, Kabuto was almost starting to lose it as Naruto drew even closer to his position. Tears began to stream down his chin as he didn't manage to get a hold of himself, didn't manage to know what to do.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): I'm so sorry Urushi... What have I done?! I... I...
Naruto: This is the end, farewell, Yaku-...
Kabuto: No, stop!!! Please!!
Naruto: ?!
Just inches from Kabuto's face, Naruto stopped in his advance as he was shocked to hear Kabuto's pledge for him to stop. Having stretched his arms out in the air, Kabuto looked as if he was surrendering!!
Kabuto: I... Just... please don't... I don't want to... die... I'm... lost, I... can't... it can't... end like this... this is not... my destiny... Naruto-Kun, please...
Naruto: ...
Kabuto: I... I... I... give... I give up... you win... there is no way beating you now... I can't... I just want to... go home... I acknowledge your Ninja Way Naruto-Kun... I surrender to you...
As the rest of the alliance were still trying to break through the crumbling barrier, Naruto looked awe-struck at Kabuto, unable to grasp his words or believe what he was saying to be true. He just couldn't believe it, it was so unreal... Yakushi Kabuto, surrendering?? Even though he was shocked to hear this, Naruto was, at the same time, satisfied, as a smile formed on his face as he remembered something the Sage of Six Paths said, right before he was sealed away into the Underworld Dimension.
*Flashback Begins*
'"Always keep in mind that true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one... I'm sure we will meet again someday kid... I just know it... Until then!!"'
*Flashback Ends*
Naruto: ... I accept your surrender.
Kabuto: You... you do??
Taking his words for it, Naruto then holstered his sword on his back again as he started to perform some hand-seals. Out of his right arm came several roots of wood as they started to restrain Kabuto's body and especially his arms, even tightening his mouth shut, preventing him from escaping through Orochimaru's body replacement technique or performing any other techniques. As he was done with this part, a wooden cage formed around him, locking him tight as Naruto proceeded to place a tag or some sort of seal on it that said "Absorb" on it.
Naruto: Then this concludes the war... This seal shall prevent you from escaping as it drains and keeps your chakra at a minimum...
As Naruto finished up, most of the alliance came rushing towards them as the final remains of the barrier collapsed, while some others went to check on Urushi's body. Before they managed to get there however, Naruto's eyes rolled backwards into his head as he fell flat with his face towards the ground.
Sasuke: Naruto?!
As they rushed to his side, it was obvious that he had passed out due to exhaustion and overusing his chakra as they turned him around on his back, but as the crowd began to mumble amongst themselves, Ino stepped forward to check on him.
Ino: Didn't Kabuto inflict some kind of poison on him?? I better check to be sure, as Sakura is at the head quarter while Tsunade is... not amongst us anymore...
Hinata: Is he okay Ino??
Bending down beside here, Hinata slowly brushed her hand across Naruto's face as she had a sad expression on her face.
Ino: Hinata, I... I don't really know. Damn, where is Sakura when you need her, she is so much better at this than I am! It seems as if the traces of the poison is disappearing, whatever type of poison it was, I'm not sure though... It might have something to do with the Jubi's healing powers, maybe that's why the poison seems to be disappearing??
Konohamaru: So, Shikamaru... I guess this is the end of the war then?? What should we do with Kabuto??
Shikamaru: I guess so... Damn this war has been troublesome indeed. But yeah, hmm... I guess the Kages will have to decide that, but right now, both Gaara and Killerbee are at the head-quarter, Naruto is passed out and Mei is...
Konohamaru: You don't have to say it man...
Kankuro: I guess that leaves Sasuke then, he's the active 5th Tsuchikage and the only Kage available here after all...
Sasuke: I don't want to take a major decision like that alone, especially since Naruto decided to capture him instead of killing him off... Something we must respect, as Naruto wouldn't do that without a reason. Besides, I'm just an active Kage, like you just said, so what I really think doesn't really matter...
Kankuro: Ehh... Well...
Kurotsuchi: I wouldn't say that Sasuke... Who knows, now that this war is over and the remnant of the past war has been taken care off, peace has finally been brought back to this land, and considering all you've done to help out, you might be looking at a permanent solution as our Tsuchikage.
Sasuke: Oh please... I don't think I'm suited for tha-...
Akatsuchi: Why not?? It's not like Onoki can take the position since he... you know... And there aren't really that many candidates around here. Kitsuchi would have still been around if he hadn't been...
Obviously still affected by the major losses of this war, some of the alliance members began to break out in depression. After all, now that the war was finally over, they could start allowing themselves time to mourn the dead.
Sasuke: Then what about you?? Who's to say that either one of you can't become the next official one? I wasn't born in Iwa, it wouldn't be right, and at least above all, it wouldn't be fair... It wouldn't be what Onoki would have wanted... what the people would want.
Akatsuchi: I...
Kurotsuchi: Stop beating down on yourself so much Sasuke, and you know my position is only at your side.
Getting close to him, the two of them started to exchange kisses as the rest following the conversation shied away.
Choji: Ino, is Naruto... Is he alright?
Ino: I can't say, I'm not a poison expert like Sakura... What Kabuto and Naruto said to each other... We were too far away at times to grasp what they said... But he seems to be alright...
Rock Lee: Should we ask Kabuto then??
Shikamaru: No, it's too dangerous to to that, Naruto sealed up his mouth for a reason... Ino, can you contact head-quarter? We need to tell them that Naruto's won, that the alliance has stood triumphant, that the war is over and that we finally can go home... That we finally can enjoy peace again.
Ino: Right, I really should need to get in touch with Sakura as well.
Sai: I can't believe he managed to pull through all those battles alone... I mean, I do know Naruto, but...
Sasuke: Yeah... As much as I hate admitting it, he's on a level higher than me now... But not for long I assure you... I definitely won't fall behind...
Giving off a humoristic smile of confidence, Sasuke, together with Kurotsuchi, also joined the rest.
Ino: Alright, I made contact, Gaara and Killerbee suggested that we pack up here and meet them back at the head-quarter where Sakura will be ready to check up on Naruto. They'll decide Kabuto's fate later, when everyone has figured out of things and got a better view over this whole situation.
Shikamaru: Right, we'll head back then. Let's form a stretcher and carry Naruto home, while we'll also make one for Kabuto, we won't take any chances breaking that cage...
Kankuro: Sounds like a plan.
Just as they were to move out, one Shinobi Alliance Member came running towards them, holding three objects in his hands.
Shinobi: Hey guys, I'm not really sure what this is, but it looks awfully familiar! I found them by the end of the wall on the oppo-...
Shikamaru: That's?!
Kankuro: No way, those are the Crimson Gourd, Amber Purifying Pot and the Golden Canopy Rope?! Didn't they disappear in the past war??
Shikamaru: I'm certain I can recall Tobi stealing them?
Sasuke: But how could Kabuto get a hold on to them, and why would he store them here?
Konohamaru: Either way, we should take them with us back, there's no use for them here.
Shikamaru: You're right, we already have the Banana Palm Fan and the Seven Star Sword stored at-...
Rock Lee: Then let's go!
Shikamaru: Alright everyone, let's move out!
As the alliance started to prepare themselves for the journey back to the head-quarter, Kabuto looked rather calm in his wooden prison as both Naruto and himself was carried on stretchers with them.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): This is not the end...

Darui: So it's really over then huh...
Gaara: Yeah, It's almost unreal...
Sakura: I don't like the tone Ino had when she contacted us, she seemed kind of worried over Naruto...
Gai: Haha, don't worry, Naruto will be fine, he always have.
Kakashi: Yeah...
Jiraiya: And knowing you, you won't let anything happen to him Sakura-Chan! You'll be able to fix him, I'm sure of it!
Sakura: Yeah...
Yamato: Naruto will be fine, don't you worry about it, though, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Temari: So any idea how long it will take for them to get here?? We should start doing some analysis on this war and the outcome of it, don't you think brother?
Gaara: Yeah, you're right... I've almost lost track on how many we lost...
Mito: We shouldn't let our moral down like this, we did manage to overcome this threat, and we are now standing even closer than before because of it. Those people who dies... Did not die in vain.
Hiruzen: Yep, you're right about that, well said Mito.
Killerbee: Geez, I really hope Naruto gave Kabuto a nice whooping before he decided to spare him, or else, I could really need a nice trim, crushing that whim!
Gaara: Easy now, we'll decide what to do with him eventually... We should call in a meeting when the rest get back.
Darui: But with Mei gone, who shall take her place??
Gaara: ...
Sakura: Let's worry about that later, for now, let's get together a record over the damage and the casualties.
Gaara: Right.
As time went by, the rest of the alliance finally came back after the long march as Gaara and Killerbee called in for a meeting on top of their temporary head-quarter. On the table inside laid Naruto, as Sakura was doing some check-ups on him, with both Hinata and Jiraiya watching her closely from the side. Walking back and forth in a worried pace was Ino, whom were ready to help in case Sakura needed it.
Ino: I really hope he's alright, if you're able to find something I didn't, I'm going to beat myself up so badly.
Sakura: Don't worry, I'm sure he's fine. From the initial look of things, he seems to have only passed out.
Jiraiya: Are you sure?
Sakura: Well...
Reaching out for another equipment, Sakura continued to do her search as Hinata had a worried look on her face.
Hinata: Sakura-Chan, you really think Naruto-Kun is going to be alright? I mean, if something were to happen to him, after all this... His newborn daughter at home... she can't-...
Jiraiya: Mom, why are you worrying so much?!
Sakura: Just take it easy, and let me see...
On the balcony, together with Gaara and Killerbee, stood the likes of Shikamaru, Sasuke, Darui, Akatsuchi, Kankuro, Temari, Kurotsuchi, Konohamaru, Kakashi, Gai, Yamato, and some representatives from Kiri, as Gaara addressed the crowd below.
Gaara: I've...
Taking a brief pause before continuing, Gaara had a weary look on his face, as he was clearly, like everyone else, heavily impacted by this war and its events.
Gaara: We've lost many dare ones to our heart at this day... They fought amongst us, to oppose the immediately threat, that has continued to lay over us since the end of the 4th Great Ninja War... Without their sacrifice, we would never have been able to bring an end to this war, and finally bring peace to this land... With both Tobi gone and Kabuto defeated, we can finally start looking ahead on the future... A future which holds much promise for the five great shinobi villages, and the rest of this world... The previous Kages like Onoki, Tsunade, A all stood out, fighting for what they believed in, to protect the next generation of Shinobi, even Mei, your beloved Mizukage of Kiri passed away and I regretfully feel like I could have done better, that I could have...
Having a hard time holding his act together, Killerbee whispered some words into his ear as Sasuke stepped forward.
Sasuke: This land... Have faced tremendous challenge with this war... Even though I don't feel like I'm worthy, standing here right now, before you, I still want to say that everyone did their best today, and that it's impossible to avoid casualties in wars... If it wasn't for my good friend Naruto, we might even have faced even greater loss... Not only for what he did during the last war, but for what he has done for us during these past days of pain and agony... Right now, I'm not even sure if he's okay or not, but as soon as he wakes up, I will-...
Killerbee: Sasuke...
Sasuke: ...The casualties have still been great, and so we will take our time to grieve, but we will rise again, stronger than ever before as a unit, and no evil will dear threaten our bond again!!
With enormous applause, the kages and the rest on the balcony then stepped inside as the crowd below began to scatter.
Sakura: Those were some nice speeches you two had there...
Sasuke: How is he?
Sakura: He seems to be doing fine, but there were some traces left of an unknown poison in his body... A poison looking very similar to the one that was injected into him on our way over here... But it seems to be breaking up now due to the massive healing powers of the Jubi... I did, however, work up a little antidote to be sure, but other than that, he should be fine.
Sasuke: I see...
Gaara: So when will he wake up??
Sakura: I'm not sure... It doesn't really seem like he's just passed out...
Hinata: What do you mean?!
Sakura: I... His condition is stable, but I think that... Naruto might have slipped into a coma...
Everyone: What?!
Jiraiya: What do you mean coma?!!
Yamato: You can't be serious! What if... what if the Jubi breaks free??
Sakura: Relax, I doubt Naruto will lose control over it after all they've been through so far... Besides, I'm not fully sure yet though, as I need to do some follow-up analysis... I can't really say for sure until I've checked him out with the proper equipment... equipments I don't have my hand on here.
Kiri Representative: Is there anything you need, name it...
Sakura: Yeah, but I don't think you have the proper equipment, as I need to go back to Konoha to get them.
Gaara: Hmm...
Sasuke: Then I guess this is it then...
Killerbee: Yeah...
Shikamaru: We should take care of the final reports and decide upon a meeting in few days to decide Kabuto's fate, as well as some other things. In the meantime however, I suggest that we all head home...
Gaara: Right...
Sasuke: What if Naruto don't wake up until then?
Shikamaru: Then we'll find an active Hokage in the meantime, as of right now it's too early to say.
Gai: Well you're the second in command now Shikamaru, now that Tsunade is gone...
Kakashi: Yeah...
Shikamaru: I said, it's too early to tell, it's not like Naruto isn't our Hokage anymore just because his current state is uncertain, and if anything, Sakura, who's third in command, or even Konohamaru who acted as Hokage while we were gone could take his place.
Gai: And let's not forget about you Kakashi...
Gaara: And Kiri, will they be able to find someone to take Mei's place?
Kiri Representative: We're not sure... Like you said, it's all a bit early to say, but I think we have someone in mind.
Killerbee: Then Kabuto will remain in your prison until we decide what to do, hopefully he will stick there like glue.
Gaara: Right then, I guess this calls our meeting to an end... Travel safe, will you?
As the four different villages' shinobi prepared themselves to travel home from Kiri, the sun had fully risen on the horizon, as morning had turned into day.

Fun Facts & Author's Note:
1: Finally, the war comes to an end, after battling none-stop since Chapter 3 of this sequel. However, I don't want you to think that it's the end of my long-running FF just yet, as I still got some plans coming up for the next couple of chapters, plus what to come in my other sequel, plus the "short movie" I'll be doing.
2: Kabuto surrendering... Now that was something I bet most of you people didn't see coming at all, and the matter of fact is that I actually planned that part so long ago, I can hardly remember xD I think I panned that out before I began writing this sequel actually. Naruto in a coma... Is this why Jiraiya was Hokage in the "future plot" of my FF, displayed in the three first chapters of my sequel?? You will have to just wait and see, all I can say is that I'll be nearing that "future" with the remaining chapters, and Chapter 30 will kick off where Chapter 3 ended.
3: Who will the new Mizukage be?? That is a surprise to come, as I actually got a lot of plot coming up, and not just some "wrapping up" scenes for sure. In matter of fact, the next chapter, Chapter 27, is panning out to become the biggest chapter of my entire NB writing career, and it might become even bigger than chapter 10 itself! So yeah, stay tuned for that ;D Oh actually, scratch that, it will become the biggest, like ever, perhaps even twice as big as Chapter 10, and even bigger than RokuNR's Bleach movie! xD
4: Does Kabuto have a plan, or did he just surrender for good? Kabuto's fate will be revealed shortly, as well as what really happened to the original Zetsu (the White/Black one)...
5: Other than that, I don't really think I have much more than that to say for now, other than that I'm not sure when Chapter 27 will be released yet due to it's massive size of content (it's already bigger than Chapter 10 of this sequel, and I'm only about 1/3 done with it. In a blink of the eye, Naruto pierced the Master Sword through Kabuto's chest, as it came out the back of him. Blood gushed down from his mouth as his body slowly began to disappear, as if getting sealed into the sword, little by little, until he was completely gone.
Naruto: This is the end, farewell, Yakushi Kabuto...
Kabuto (In Thoughts): ?! No... It can't end like that?!
Still lying on the ground, Kabuto's mind snapped back to reality as Naruto was still charging towards him with the Master Sword in his hand, ready to strike him down.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): I don't want to die... Not like this, not before I know who I am, my own identity?! If I don't do anything, what I just saw is going to... happen... I can't get sealed away to that dimension, the same as the Sage!! Urushi... what have I done?! I... I...
Clutching his head in despair, Kabuto was almost starting to lose it as Naruto drew even closer to his position. Tears began to stream down his chin as he didn't manage to get a hold of himself, didn't manage to know what to do.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): I'm so sorry Urushi... What have I done?! I... I...
Naruto: This is the end, farewell, Yaku-...
Kabuto: No, stop!!! Please!!
Naruto: ?!
Just inches from Kabuto's face, Naruto stopped in his advance as he was shocked to hear Kabuto's pledge for him to stop. Having stretched his arms out in the air, Kabuto looked as if he was surrendering!!
Kabuto: I... Just... please don't... I don't want to... die... I'm... lost, I... can't... it can't... end like this... this is not... my destiny... Naruto-Kun, please...
Naruto: ...
Kabuto: I... I... I... give... I give up... you win... there is no way beating you now... I can't... I just want to... go home... I acknowledge your Ninja Way Naruto-Kun... I surrender to you...
As the rest of the alliance were still trying to break through the crumbling barrier, Naruto looked awe-struck at Kabuto, unable to grasp his words or believe what he was saying to be true. He just couldn't believe it, it was so unreal... Yakushi Kabuto, surrendering?? Even though he was shocked to hear this, Naruto was, at the same time, satisfied, as a smile formed on his face as he remembered something the Sage of Six Paths said, right before he was sealed away into the Underworld Dimension.
*Flashback Begins*
'"Always keep in mind that true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one... I'm sure we will meet again someday kid... I just know it... Until then!!"'
*Flashback Ends*
Naruto: ... I accept your surrender.
Kabuto: You... you do??
Taking his words for it, Naruto then holstered his sword on his back again as he started to perform some hand-seals. Out of his right arm came several roots of wood as they started to restrain Kabuto's body and especially his arms, even tightening his mouth shut, preventing him from escaping through Orochimaru's body replacement technique or performing any other techniques. As he was done with this part, a wooden cage formed around him, locking him tight as Naruto proceeded to place a tag or some sort of seal on it that said "Absorb" on it.
Naruto: Then this concludes the war... This seal shall prevent you from escaping as it drains and keeps your chakra at a minimum...
As Naruto finished up, most of the alliance came rushing towards them as the final remains of the barrier collapsed, while some others went to check on Urushi's body. Before they managed to get there however, Naruto's eyes rolled backwards into his head as he fell flat with his face towards the ground.
Sasuke: Naruto?!
As they rushed to his side, it was obvious that he had passed out due to exhaustion and overusing his chakra as they turned him around on his back, but as the crowd began to mumble amongst themselves, Ino stepped forward to check on him.
Ino: Didn't Kabuto inflict some kind of poison on him?? I better check to be sure, as Sakura is at the head quarter while Tsunade is... not amongst us anymore...
Hinata: Is he okay Ino??
Bending down beside here, Hinata slowly brushed her hand across Naruto's face as she had a sad expression on her face.
Ino: Hinata, I... I don't really know. Damn, where is Sakura when you need her, she is so much better at this than I am! It seems as if the traces of the poison is disappearing, whatever type of poison it was, I'm not sure though... It might have something to do with the Jubi's healing powers, maybe that's why the poison seems to be disappearing??
Konohamaru: So, Shikamaru... I guess this is the end of the war then?? What should we do with Kabuto??
Shikamaru: I guess so... Damn this war has been troublesome indeed. But yeah, hmm... I guess the Kages will have to decide that, but right now, both Gaara and Killerbee are at the head-quarter, Naruto is passed out and Mei is...
Konohamaru: You don't have to say it man...
Kankuro: I guess that leaves Sasuke then, he's the active 5th Tsuchikage and the only Kage available here after all...
Sasuke: I don't want to take a major decision like that alone, especially since Naruto decided to capture him instead of killing him off... Something we must respect, as Naruto wouldn't do that without a reason. Besides, I'm just an active Kage, like you just said, so what I really think doesn't really matter...
Kankuro: Ehh... Well...
Kurotsuchi: I wouldn't say that Sasuke... Who knows, now that this war is over and the remnant of the past war has been taken care off, peace has finally been brought back to this land, and considering all you've done to help out, you might be looking at a permanent solution as our Tsuchikage.
Sasuke: Oh please... I don't think I'm suited for tha-...
Akatsuchi: Why not?? It's not like Onoki can take the position since he... you know... And there aren't really that many candidates around here. Kitsuchi would have still been around if he hadn't been...
Obviously still affected by the major losses of this war, some of the alliance members began to break out in depression. After all, now that the war was finally over, they could start allowing themselves time to mourn the dead.
Sasuke: Then what about you?? Who's to say that either one of you can't become the next official one? I wasn't born in Iwa, it wouldn't be right, and at least above all, it wouldn't be fair... It wouldn't be what Onoki would have wanted... what the people would want.
Akatsuchi: I...
Kurotsuchi: Stop beating down on yourself so much Sasuke, and you know my position is only at your side.
Getting close to him, the two of them started to exchange kisses as the rest following the conversation shied away.
Choji: Ino, is Naruto... Is he alright?
Ino: I can't say, I'm not a poison expert like Sakura... What Kabuto and Naruto said to each other... We were too far away at times to grasp what they said... But he seems to be alright...
Rock Lee: Should we ask Kabuto then??
Shikamaru: No, it's too dangerous to to that, Naruto sealed up his mouth for a reason... Ino, can you contact head-quarter? We need to tell them that Naruto's won, that the alliance has stood triumphant, that the war is over and that we finally can go home... That we finally can enjoy peace again.
Ino: Right, I really should need to get in touch with Sakura as well.
Sai: I can't believe he managed to pull through all those battles alone... I mean, I do know Naruto, but...
Sasuke: Yeah... As much as I hate admitting it, he's on a level higher than me now... But not for long I assure you... I definitely won't fall behind...
Giving off a humoristic smile of confidence, Sasuke, together with Kurotsuchi, also joined the rest.
Ino: Alright, I made contact, Gaara and Killerbee suggested that we pack up here and meet them back at the head-quarter where Sakura will be ready to check up on Naruto. They'll decide Kabuto's fate later, when everyone has figured out of things and got a better view over this whole situation.
Shikamaru: Right, we'll head back then. Let's form a stretcher and carry Naruto home, while we'll also make one for Kabuto, we won't take any chances breaking that cage...
Kankuro: Sounds like a plan.
Just as they were to move out, one Shinobi Alliance Member came running towards them, holding three objects in his hands.
Shinobi: Hey guys, I'm not really sure what this is, but it looks awfully familiar! I found them by the end of the wall on the oppo-...
Shikamaru: That's?!
Kankuro: No way, those are the Crimson Gourd, Amber Purifying Pot and the Golden Canopy Rope?! Didn't they disappear in the past war??
Shikamaru: I'm certain I can recall Tobi stealing them?
Sasuke: But how could Kabuto get a hold on to them, and why would he store them here?
Konohamaru: Either way, we should take them with us back, there's no use for them here.
Shikamaru: You're right, we already have the Banana Palm Fan and the Seven Star Sword stored at-...
Rock Lee: Then let's go!
Shikamaru: Alright everyone, let's move out!
As the alliance started to prepare themselves for the journey back to the head-quarter, Kabuto looked rather calm in his wooden prison as both Naruto and himself was carried on stretchers with them.
Kabuto (In Thoughts): This is not the end...
[...]
Darui: So it's really over then huh...
Gaara: Yeah, It's almost unreal...
Sakura: I don't like the tone Ino had when she contacted us, she seemed kind of worried over Naruto...
Gai: Haha, don't worry, Naruto will be fine, he always have.
Kakashi: Yeah...
Jiraiya: And knowing you, you won't let anything happen to him Sakura-Chan! You'll be able to fix him, I'm sure of it!
Sakura: Yeah...
Yamato: Naruto will be fine, don't you worry about it, though, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Temari: So any idea how long it will take for them to get here?? We should start doing some analysis on this war and the outcome of it, don't you think brother?
Gaara: Yeah, you're right... I've almost lost track on how many we lost...
Mito: We shouldn't let our moral down like this, we did manage to overcome this threat, and we are now standing even closer than before because of it. Those people who dies... Did not die in vain.
Hiruzen: Yep, you're right about that, well said Mito.
Killerbee: Geez, I really hope Naruto gave Kabuto a nice whooping before he decided to spare him, or else, I could really need a nice trim, crushing that whim!
Gaara: Easy now, we'll decide what to do with him eventually... We should call in a meeting when the rest get back.
Darui: But with Mei gone, who shall take her place??
Gaara: ...
Sakura: Let's worry about that later, for now, let's get together a record over the damage and the casualties.
Gaara: Right.
As time went by, the rest of the alliance finally came back after the long march as Gaara and Killerbee called in for a meeting on top of their temporary head-quarter. On the table inside laid Naruto, as Sakura was doing some check-ups on him, with both Hinata and Jiraiya watching her closely from the side. Walking back and forth in a worried pace was Ino, whom were ready to help in case Sakura needed it.
Ino: I really hope he's alright, if you're able to find something I didn't, I'm going to beat myself up so badly.
Sakura: Don't worry, I'm sure he's fine. From the initial look of things, he seems to have only passed out.
Jiraiya: Are you sure?
Sakura: Well...
Reaching out for another equipment, Sakura continued to do her search as Hinata had a worried look on her face.
Hinata: Sakura-Chan, you really think Naruto-Kun is going to be alright? I mean, if something were to happen to him, after all this... His newborn daughter at home... she can't-...
Jiraiya: Mom, why are you worrying so much?!
Sakura: Just take it easy, and let me see...
On the balcony, together with Gaara and Killerbee, stood the likes of Shikamaru, Sasuke, Darui, Akatsuchi, Kankuro, Temari, Kurotsuchi, Konohamaru, Kakashi, Gai, Yamato, and some representatives from Kiri, as Gaara addressed the crowd below.
Gaara: I've...
Taking a brief pause before continuing, Gaara had a weary look on his face, as he was clearly, like everyone else, heavily impacted by this war and its events.
Gaara: We've lost many dare ones to our heart at this day... They fought amongst us, to oppose the immediately threat, that has continued to lay over us since the end of the 4th Great Ninja War... Without their sacrifice, we would never have been able to bring an end to this war, and finally bring peace to this land... With both Tobi gone and Kabuto defeated, we can finally start looking ahead on the future... A future which holds much promise for the five great shinobi villages, and the rest of this world... The previous Kages like Onoki, Tsunade, A all stood out, fighting for what they believed in, to protect the next generation of Shinobi, even Mei, your beloved Mizukage of Kiri passed away and I regretfully feel like I could have done better, that I could have...
Having a hard time holding his act together, Killerbee whispered some words into his ear as Sasuke stepped forward.
Sasuke: This land... Have faced tremendous challenge with this war... Even though I don't feel like I'm worthy, standing here right now, before you, I still want to say that everyone did their best today, and that it's impossible to avoid casualties in wars... If it wasn't for my good friend Naruto, we might even have faced even greater loss... Not only for what he did during the last war, but for what he has done for us during these past days of pain and agony... Right now, I'm not even sure if he's okay or not, but as soon as he wakes up, I will-...
Killerbee: Sasuke...
Sasuke: ...The casualties have still been great, and so we will take our time to grieve, but we will rise again, stronger than ever before as a unit, and no evil will dear threaten our bond again!!
With enormous applause, the kages and the rest on the balcony then stepped inside as the crowd below began to scatter.
Sakura: Those were some nice speeches you two had there...
Sasuke: How is he?
Sakura: He seems to be doing fine, but there were some traces left of an unknown poison in his body... A poison looking very similar to the one that was injected into him on our way over here... But it seems to be breaking up now due to the massive healing powers of the Jubi... I did, however, work up a little antidote to be sure, but other than that, he should be fine.
Sasuke: I see...
Gaara: So when will he wake up??
Sakura: I'm not sure... It doesn't really seem like he's just passed out...
Hinata: What do you mean?!
Sakura: I... His condition is stable, but I think that... Naruto might have slipped into a coma...
Everyone: What?!
Jiraiya: What do you mean coma?!!
Yamato: You can't be serious! What if... what if the Jubi breaks free??
Sakura: Relax, I doubt Naruto will lose control over it after all they've been through so far... Besides, I'm not fully sure yet though, as I need to do some follow-up analysis... I can't really say for sure until I've checked him out with the proper equipment... equipments I don't have my hand on here.
Kiri Representative: Is there anything you need, name it...
Sakura: Yeah, but I don't think you have the proper equipment, as I need to go back to Konoha to get them.
Gaara: Hmm...
Sasuke: Then I guess this is it then...
Killerbee: Yeah...
Shikamaru: We should take care of the final reports and decide upon a meeting in few days to decide Kabuto's fate, as well as some other things. In the meantime however, I suggest that we all head home...
Gaara: Right...
Sasuke: What if Naruto don't wake up until then?
Shikamaru: Then we'll find an active Hokage in the meantime, as of right now it's too early to say.
Gai: Well you're the second in command now Shikamaru, now that Tsunade is gone...
Kakashi: Yeah...
Shikamaru: I said, it's too early to tell, it's not like Naruto isn't our Hokage anymore just because his current state is uncertain, and if anything, Sakura, who's third in command, or even Konohamaru who acted as Hokage while we were gone could take his place.
Gai: And let's not forget about you Kakashi...
Gaara: And Kiri, will they be able to find someone to take Mei's place?
Kiri Representative: We're not sure... Like you said, it's all a bit early to say, but I think we have someone in mind.
Killerbee: Then Kabuto will remain in your prison until we decide what to do, hopefully he will stick there like glue.
Gaara: Right then, I guess this calls our meeting to an end... Travel safe, will you?
As the four different villages' shinobi prepared themselves to travel home from Kiri, the sun had fully risen on the horizon, as morning had turned into day.

Fun Facts & Author's Note:
1: Finally, the war comes to an end, after battling none-stop since Chapter 3 of this sequel. However, I don't want you to think that it's the end of my long-running FF just yet, as I still got some plans coming up for the next couple of chapters, plus what to come in my other sequel, plus the "short movie" I'll be doing.
2: Kabuto surrendering... Now that was something I bet most of you people didn't see coming at all, and the matter of fact is that I actually planned that part so long ago, I can hardly remember xD I think I panned that out before I began writing this sequel actually. Naruto in a coma... Is this why Jiraiya was Hokage in the "future plot" of my FF, displayed in the three first chapters of my sequel?? You will have to just wait and see, all I can say is that I'll be nearing that "future" with the remaining chapters, and Chapter 30 will kick off where Chapter 3 ended.
3: Who will the new Mizukage be?? That is a surprise to come, as I actually got a lot of plot coming up, and not just some "wrapping up" scenes for sure. In matter of fact, the next chapter, Chapter 27, is panning out to become the biggest chapter of my entire NB writing career, and it might become even bigger than chapter 10 itself! So yeah, stay tuned for that ;D Oh actually, scratch that, it will become the biggest, like ever, perhaps even twice as big as Chapter 10, and even bigger than RokuNR's Bleach movie! xD
4: Does Kabuto have a plan, or did he just surrender for good? Kabuto's fate will be revealed shortly, as well as what really happened to the original Zetsu (the White/Black one)...
5: Other than that, I don't really think I have much more than that to say for now, other than that I'm not sure when Chapter 27 will be released yet due to it's massive size of content (it's already bigger than Chapter 10 of this sequel, and I'm only about 1/3 done with it.
