They would've been fighting Itachi and Nagato.. so they wouldn't even be in the situation.... .

If Itachi was still controlled Naruto and B wouldn't have gotten into that situation. That situation existed only because Itachi was able to help them, since he was good.

Seriously, I don't think he would.

He has no feasible counter to Preta Path, and even his chakra arms would more than likely not be able to save him from Bansho Tennin. If he gets successfully caught in Bansho Tennin, Human Path does the rest and he's dead.

We already saw that Nagato was about to wipe out KCM Naruto and Bee in an instant, and Naruto having BM wouldn't change anything really.

Prime Nagato was defeated by Naruto..... still a cannon fact till today. Only reason Jiraiya lost was due to him not knowing the secret of the paths.

We haven't seen Naruto being able to create a clone while stuck against Human Path.

I meant for making the clone before he gets sucked in all the way. SM clone also counters Preta as Frog Kata would work and the frog petrification thing but Nagato probably won't fall for that twice.
