40,000 Alliance Shinobi died in the first day. That's half the original number and yet it was only the first day. Who knows how many shinobi have died ever since? We must not forget Neji, Shikaku, Inoichi, Ao, Mabui and all the others at HQ too. The war is still ongoing and there are potentially many more deaths coming our way.

OT: Naruto has taught me that people can die from getting hit by a kunai without having any signs of physical wounds or bleeding.

When you have 91 years of combat experience, the most in your manga, and you switch to long range mode that contains a long ranged attack, clearly you're supposed to charge the enemy and fall for the same attack strategy twice....IN A ROW *cough cough* Kakuzu * cough cough*

When you nearly die protecting someone and even mention you love him...the first time he's heard these words....generally you should never try to intentionally seek this person out. Just wait till their cousin (and practical brother) dies...makes shit easier.

When you are charging up a power up and the village is destroyed don't regret and lament you don't have enough chakra...because giving deserved foreshadowing is apparently not as important as getting a power up in general.

When Shinobi go to war...the clearly state they are going to war, and then charge our in the open to engage their enemies in combat....because once again being an epic shinobi requires one to say, "**** Stealth."

Shino and Zetsu are the only shinobi who are well...shinobi.
