Or Obito's Yin (Mind) is not enough to control the current Juubi's Yang (Body), because Juubi's Yin (Mind) is with Naruto, in the shapes of Bijuus (Their "Names").

Yes, I never believed the Juubi was mindless, its primordial state might have lacked sapience, but the Juubi during Rikudou's era was definitely a sentient entity.

Actually, I think on it's own the Ten-Tails is mindless. Kurama and the other Tailed Beasts are the only survivors of the Sage's era, and he says it lacks feelings or ideas since it's essentially a force of nature. But my guess is that when it enters a host and is effected by that individual's spiritual energy that it begins to form a sense of self. If you remember the beginning of Part 2, people seemed to believe that outside of a Jinchuuriki, the Tailed Beasts were mindless, instinctual creatures that only gained intelligence once they were sealed. The Ten Tails could be the source of this line of thought.
