Zero tried to hide his astonishment at the Princess's story. He faintly remembered his grandfather saying this, though he didnt pay much attantion to it then. So his fate was bound to this girl. He had gone through many perils to save her life though he didn't even know who she was.
A Dragoon and a Dragonis. It would have been a pair ordained by the Gods for someone else, but not for him. Zero hated the word fate. He didn't like to think that someone, especially someone as talented s Princess Yuna, should have their lives chosen for them.
Zero stood up suddenly "Is that what you want?" he asked her furiously, "To live your life bound by this legend and what the king says?".
Zero hated people who weren't able to think for themselves, and so far, Yuna had shown him that she was well capable of making her own choices and being clear on what she wanted. She had done it perfectly well inside the enchanted forest.
