1. Edos get revived to the state of their death. Madara was an exception, stated by Kabuto
2. It's already been stated the 1st and 2nd weren't anywhere NEAR full power. Hiruzen basically fought their fodder copies while Orochimaru laughed at him and he died.
3. Hiruzen hasn't been doing sh*t at all, he didn't even make a clone :|
