If you're terrible at genjutsu, or not good enough to break his best ones( high level sharingan genjutsu and tsukuyomi ) - most people aren't able to - you won't beat him.

Orochimaru got a physical, not spiritual, power boost. He's still weak to itachi's genjutsu arsenal, like almost everyone else.


Only sasuke is 'kicking itachi's ass' because itachi's genjutsu is useless against him.
Only a fool, hater, or kakashi/obito wanker would ever even suggest their genjutsu is even remotely as good as itachi's.

No, this just says that itachi can defeat orochimaru before he even break the gen. Clearly, if he could easily break itachi's gen, he wouldn't have lost an arm. Orochimaru is a very skilled genjutsu user. Probably one of the best considering he uses genjutsu with his body reincarnaton, the fact he lost to itachi because of genjutsu says enough. Cool story bro. Tell it to bee who was caught in the most basic of basic sharingan gen. Bee was dropped into a diversion gen; Not a binding one, or controlling one, or torture one. He didn't use it on kakashi because kakashi has a sharingan which is even better for countering gen than being a perfect jin. Itachi knew low lv bs wouldn't work on him so he dropped him into a very high level one. He wanted to end the fight fast before he and kisame had to solo konoha, why would he waste time with low level gen?

Because he was targetting naruto. The guy does things for a reason, and he's noticed for a while that naruto kept going after sasuke. He obviously used it on naruto for some reason that he wanted. Plus, you don't know if chiyo and sakura were in genjutsu or not. They didn't show anything for them. They probably just broke it before naruto/kakashi helped them break it and then they went to help naruto break it.

Guy, asuma and kurenai. He already genjutsu countered kurenai and could have killed her with the kunai. did you see how slow he swung the kunai? he could have wiped out her neck before she even bit her lip. He was never fighting asuma, and guy came after he used tsukuyomi to get kakashi(the biggest threat) off his back. If you're even refering to when kakashi asked them to close their eyes, i dont see why he'd need to use it on them. He already 1 second gg'd kakashi, and was prepared to leave. If they decided to follow him, then he'd have to 1 shot them too, but they didn't follow.

first off if you remember in the manga Itachi caught Naruto in a genjutsu 100s of feet away before naruto even knew he was around. Naruto never looked in his eyes yet he was still caught.. Itachi definitely uses finger genjutsu
