Something happened between them though, which is why her part of the clan left to the forest. The twins are the first to ever lead a group of blue eyes together. ~The Council has arrived~

Shinigami: Welcome, my clan to the first gathering of the Blue Eyed clan since the last Observer War. I am honored to have you all as my guest. Tonight we shall be celebrating a rather momentous occasion. We have discovered a way to have our clan live in peace for all eternity. However, that shall be saved for later in the evening. At this time I would like to announce my engagement to Aiko Hinamori *points to her as everyone in the clan is staring at deeply at her with piercing blue eyes* She now wears the heart of our clan and will be respected as a member of it. This goes along with her brother who is also an outsider who joins us. They are the last of their clan so we are their family.
