Really, any shinobi with decent enough taijutsu and ninjutsu could take him down. And some with superior tactics, like Zabuza and his Hidden Mist/Silent Killing, stands a good chance at taking him down as well. Without Kamui he's still a strong shinobi. But he drops rapidly down the poll.

then why complain about the restrictions. No one complains when it's SM Naruto, or Jiraiya no SM, Orochimaru or Kabuto with Edo Tensei Restricted, Tsunade with Byakugou or Katsuyu restricted, Madara with PS and Kurama restricted, etc.

Because that's Obito's main (and whats seems to be according to Kishi) technique, why restrict a tech that he relies on? What even more dumb is that ppl are only restricting it because of what happened this chapter, no one ever really done that but now everyone is s**ting out threads about it, it's annoying

Dude, you should really calm down.
Usually in VS threads there are restrictions... Like Itachi can't use Amaterasu, Danzo can't use KA, Danzo is limited to 3 Izanagi, Hiruzen can't use RDS, etc. This isn't an exception.

The problem is that Obito had a lot of abilities but was never actually skilled shinobi. Kabuto leant him 6 jinchuurikis and Obito was so inept that he couldn't hold his own against Gai, Kakashi, Naruto, and Bee, despite having mokuton, rinnegan, and sharingan. He has mokuton but it's near or lower than the level in which Yamato performs it. He doesn't use the rinnegan in combat. His taijutsu is mediocre. His genjutsu seems goodish, but no where near the level of Frog Song or Tsukuyomi. It seems like Kurenai might be able to stand toe to toe with him in genjutsu. His firestyle wouldn't put down most top tiers people people would like to put him up against. And even with Kamui, he still needs to defeat that person after he has taken them to the kamui dimension.
The one trump card that Obito actually does have is the Gedo Mazo.
What you're upset about truly is that of what Obito could have been rather than what he was. But he was never a particularly skilled ninja at anything.

It seems like Kurenai might be able to stand toe to toe with him in genjutsu.

Obito controls a perfect Jinchuriki and worms all of Konans secrets out of her and Kurenai stands toe to toe with him. Okay.

I really wouldn't take this Obito as an example. This Obito is really tuckered out, he fought a very long period, firstly against the Jinchuriki, then with Kakashi and Gai joined and then when Madara and the alliance arrived. He put too much in this war and seems physically such as mentally tuckered out.

Do you remember how overpowered Tobi was with only his Kamui and Madara's fan, so that the Jinchuriki, Gai and Kakashi had huge problems in causing damage and only did because of Kakashi's Kamui, or when he used multiple Bijuu? In canon, Tobi is also able to use the Jutsu of the six path's as Madara taught them to him and he also wanted to use a path against Yamato. Further there is still his massive Katon, Mokuton and Izanagi. A fully calmed down Tobi with all of his energy available, is still Top 10 material, I'd say Top 5.

So I'd go as far to say that most Kages could probably beat him.

Granted, that's only if he fought like he did against Kakashi.

If he actually used Izanagi/Mokuton/etc. then he'd do quite a bit better.
