so can everyone with MS use amaterasu or is it just sasuke and itachi? i am curious because at first i thought everyone could but since i havent seen anyone else use it i think it is only these two. also how can they both use the same tech. i get they are brothers but still i think thats kinda strange.

Since it is a Mangekyou Sharingan exclusive jutsu, it is surmisable that anybody with the Mangekyou can use it. Although, so far, we've only seen a few characters with the Mangekyou in their posession use it. This is pure hypothesis on my part.

It's pretty much a fact that anyone with MS in both eyes can used it.Sasuke,Itachi, Madara, Shisui, Izuna.All those Uchiha had MS in both eyes, so they all can or could used it.
Not in manga but data book which in my opinion is not FACT.Even the way they describe it gives you the idea that they are speculating.even when they showed hashi/madara fight in the manga he didn't us AM.why would he not use such a strong arsenal during that fight?I can u

Only Sasuke and Itachi since they are brothers.
Every MS has its own unique skill.
Sasuke/Itachi are amaterasu, due to being brothers, they both would have it.
Shisui is Koto
and Obito is Kamui.
Madara's EMS powers are only his Perfect Susanoo (his susanoo mastery)

Is it not also fact that eyes that awaken Susano'o and such techniques are rare?
Meaning not all Uchiha with Mangekyou unlock the same abilities.
Also explains why Itachi was surprised to see Sasuke had Susano'o too.

There's also the possibility that maybe, just maybe, Madara and/or other Uchiha don't prefer to use Amaterasu. It does cause immense pain and bleeding of the eye.

Wouldn't Itachi's be Tsukuyomi then? And Sasuke's might be his Inferno Style. I'm sure Amaterasu isn't limited like that, but I could be wrong.
Agree 100% with this.it is said that those 2 techs are extremely rare,but out of the ms users we know of if we say madara,sasuske and itachi has those techs then that is like half of them.how rare is that? Again I say even in manga when they showed the hashi/madara fight he didn't use AM.why would he not use such a powerful arsenal since he knew hashi was stronger??

This is nonsense.I don't know why nor care why Itach was surprise at Sasuke Susanoo.These are the facts;At the third Kage summit, Sasuke said the Third power granted to a user of MS when you awaken MS in both eyes is Susanoo.He didn't say the third power in his family;Meaning any Uchiha who Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, will be granted Susanoo.We only know of three Uchiha who have awaken Susanoo because we have only seen three Uchiha with Ms in both eyes fight.We have only seen Izuna's death and we haven't seen Shisui at all.
The Sasuke/Itachi having the same power because there are brother is nonsense.If that was the case, then Izuna must have had the same power as Madara because they are borthers.And developing a unique ability with your MS doesn't mean anything in the scheme of things.The fact is Tobirama knew of Amaterasu and he died long before Sasuke or Itach were born;Meaning, some other Uchiha had to have had the ability before both of them.Shisui Uchiha was reknown for his used of genjutsu, do you actually believe he only had one genjutsu that he could used once every tens years to get such notoriety? We know of only two jutsu from Shisui, I would conclude that he had more then two jutsus.

Sasuke, Itachi, and some other unconfirmed Uchiha. Not every Uchiha awakens it. Shisui and Obito not having it is proof of that.
