itachi is top 5 at best but not one, itachi couldnt not take on the 5 kage, madara, hashi, naruto, are stronger everything is debatable tho but the reason i think you and alot of people have a hard time seeing itachi loose is because we have never seen him and a close situation like that. but based off manga i would still put kabuto at number one even tho i dislike how he became strong

Itachi defeated kabuto with izanagi and i believe that Edo itachi could beat 5 kage too ..

Edo madara defeated 5 kages because they are weak .

1) gaara: he's young and his power is close to other konoha11(lee , kiba and neji)

2) mei: she's weakest among them

3) raikage: with 1 hand , he's useless in battlefield

4) onoki: he's powerful but he's so old that was his weak point

5) tsunade: she's strongest among them but what can she do
Since she had to fight and heal them at same time ..

He's top1 for reasons ..

Itachi deserves to be strongest ninja ever for many reasons:

- He defeated nagato easily
- He defeated deidara easily
- He defeated orochimaru so easily
- He killed all uchiha members easily
- He defeated kakashi, asuma and kurenai easily
- He was playing with kabuto before he defeated him .
- Nobody can counter his genjutsu beside susanoo is so powerful.


I don't think either sasuke or naruto can beat anyone of those opponents easily like itachi did

Then it's time for you to realize fact that he didn't solo Nagato, first because of Naruto and Bee helped him.
Second that Nagato was fully controlled by Kabuto.

But last but not least, that Itachi himself stated that he failed.

Itachi didn't failed so get your facts right :

1- he managed to protect the village from any akatsuki attacks
2- he turned sasuke to be good guy

Rinnegan -> MS
Rinnegan -> No blindness
MS -> Blindness

Rinnegan -> Able to master all elements
MS -> Not

Therefore you can't say Nagato has better Chakra Control

U really are a fanboy dude ,When Itachi fought Nagato he has no blindness,it doesen't mean that u can do any thing just because u have power ,it require skill to control it ,Nagato able to master all five elements at the age of 10 when he dosen't even how stronge his pwrs are & he under control of Kabuto & at the same time he is resisting EDO that's y Kabuto unable to control Nagato properly,,& if I consider ur point's then wat Itachi did was nothing He killed his clan with the help of Obito,he has advantage in all of his fight's he has MS that's y he is able to beat Kakashi,Kurinai,Asuma,Artist and Orochimaru let his guard down in both of thire fight's,,,if u remember correctly oro almost break itachi's genjutsu that's y Itachi cut his left arm and during thire 2nd fight Oro let Itachi to hit him bcoz he thought that can't hurt him and before realizing wat really happen he sealed away,,,
