You have a point the technique itself is flawed but also has its advantages.Its basically a upgraded version of tsunades tech while it may be stronger the time duration like you said is what handicaps the technique.

All in all i wouldnt say its a downgrade considering she finally gets a new tech after all these years but its flawed at the same time.

Yea it took minato 3 years to create rasengan but this is a jutsu that has already been created by tsunde. But it takes her 3 years of storing chakra to use that is a big difference

Thats different.. it took 3 years to store up chakra to use the technique itself, if she uses up all the stored chakra wouldnt it be logical to assume that she has to store up her chakra another 3 years to use it again?

Not too mention minato creating rasegan is totally different, rasegan doesnt need 3 year prep time nor chakra storage to use it.

if anything i could be wrong and sakura can use it freely now, who knows?

Its pretty different scenarios. Sakura needs 3 years to store chakra. Once the chakra is gone the seal will dissapear and another 3 years would pass before she can fully use it again.

We don't know how long it took Tsunade to create it the first time, in some flash backs she doesn't have the seal and it might be easier to restore once it's been created.

And that's if Sakura even needs to release it. It might not even be the same seal, at least a couple of translations use a different name.

I didn't say anything about tsunade seal I'm just saying it takes 3 years for sakura to use that strength can't be compared to minato taking 3 years to create a jutsu. Sakura jutsu was already created it just has a 3 yr prep time

A three years preparation time for its creation (as in, not inventing it, but forming the seal in the body). After that she might keep the seal forever, it might be easier for her to restore it once it's been created or it might be as you say and it would take three years to restore it.

It's unlikely she will keep the seal like someone else said she doesn't have the amount of chakra tsuande has. Poor sakura is like kishi doesn't really care about her

If it took her three years to store it up so imagine how large the reserve is. I don't think it's a downgrade because there was be a massive amount of chakra saved. Unless she is constantly fighting I don't see the technique letting her down in fights.

I think it was 3 years to prepare it using the chakra she had been storing. Now that it has been created for the first time, after it's used she should be able to reform it pretty quickly. That is how i look at the technique. The chakra storage was basically a start up if you ask me. we will see eventually if it will reform.

I doubt kishi would handicap her new technique that badly. Especially after emphasising on her forehead it will stay there. And the fast about the whole surpassing thing.
