Minato d-rider detected.

-Susanoo tanks every attack he has to offer.
-Susanoo can't be entered like some people believe.
-Any toad summoned gets fodderized by Sasuke's Enton Blade or by Enton: Yasaka Magatama.
-If Minato tries to Rasengan him, Sasuke throws up Susanoo covered with Enton and Minato gets himself lit on fire.

Sasuke can spread Amaterasu around the area and use Kagustuchi to spread it farther, by lightning the the black flames Minato will eventually have no where to run and will be cornered and defeated, especially when all he can do is run.

Plus being captured by Mangekyō genjutsu of course.

Minato can't win unless he uses Shiki Fujin. A Rasengan or Kunai will not get past ribcage Susano'o, and full Susano'o can tank Food Cart Destroyer, and then, Gamabunta gets burned to a crisp or controlled with Sharingan. When he spreads out all the Kunai, Sasuke can just bunker in Susano'o and then swamp the entire battlefield in flames. Granted, it is just as difficult for Sasuke. Minato will either run away or use Shiki Fujin when he knows he can't win, and he will warp all of Sasuke'e projectiles. I only see Sasuke winning by tricking Minato with a genjutsu like he did with Danzo, but I doubt it'll be as easy as it was against Danzo. Sasuke wins high diff with Minato killing them both or running away most of the time.

Oh, how could I forget about that?

I was under the impression that the FTG he uses to teleport himself around and the technique he used to move the TBB operated by the same means.
From reading the panels though, it seems like there's a period of time between when the TBB was completely engulfed by the barrier, and when it was teleported to the detonation location. If an object can be held indefinitely within this barrier before being teleported my previous argument is sound.
It can't. It has to be redirected to a new location.

I suppose, if you adhere to strict BFR criteria, Minato would lose. Even if he ends up killing Sasuke 5 minutes later.

But yeah, Minato isn't a fodder samurai, most likely he isn't going to stand around and let a ball of black flame hit him.

Amaterasu appears where the user looks. It isn't a projectile so the only way to dodge it is to sense it coming and have the speed to evade it, or use some sort of replacement, or you need knowledge on how it works+speed to dodge it. Give Minato full knowledge and he would be able to avoid it easily.

Yeah, but Amaterasu isn't the finisher in this fight, Covering the battlefield with Amaterasu using Enton Control, which isolates Minato and leaves him open for Sasuke to end him.

It's speculation whether Minato would look at his eyes or not. He lived before the uchiha massacre so he probably has experience/knowledge about uchiha genjutsu and would act accordingly.

It can't. It has to be redirected to a new location.
That could simply be because the TBB would break open the invisible barrier if it exploded while inside it. We'll see coming chapter how Minato deals with the Juubi's TBB.

From the panel it seems like a projectile that can be dodged. Or at least that there's a time period during which you can avoid it, as it materializes. Minato is fast; he could flick out a spinning kunai with A's fist inches from his face, and double FTG back to it without A even being able to react at all. Dodging amaterasu is clearly within his ability.

Minato could either teleport to kunais left around the edge of the battlefield, or throw one straight up in the air to get out of being cornered in by the flames, then chain throw/FTG to the outside of the flames.

You can't "break" open a barrier made of nothing...it isn't even a barrier, its more like a portal that sucks things in and teleports them to a new location.

C says on the next page it ignites whatever the use is looking at and the panel shows Amaterasu appearing where A is.

And where did I say that he lacks the ability to dodge it? I said the only reason he logically wouldn't be able to is because he doesn't know how it works nor will he be expecting it like A and he can't sense like Nagato. But since Minato won't be staying in one place for too long its not an issue.

Minato could either teleport to kunai's left around the edge of the battlefield, or throw one straight up in the air to get out of being cornered in by it, then chain throw/FTG to the outside of the flames.

If Sasuke covers the majority of the field with flames, there is nowhere for him to run except a spot that isn't covered, which leads to him having no where else to teleport to meaning he gets finished off. He gets out of one area and Sasuke keeps on spreading the flames.

Not to mention Magatama can fry his Kunai anyway so there will be no escape.

We don't know enough about the technique just yet. Clearly from the panel we see that the TBB is engulfed by the barrier BEFORE he decides where to send it. So where does it reside? My opinion is that it resides within FTG seal of his kunai, ready to be unleashed. If there's one thing we learn from Naruto though, is that every seal has a limit. A TBB would likely bust it open and vaporize Minato. Therefore he had to quickly teleport it before it did detonate.

C says on the next page it ignites whatever the use is looking at and the panel shows Amaterasu appearing where A is.

Whether it's a projectile or that is has a lag between when it appears and when it sticks to the target, it doesn't matter, Minato has the speed/reaction feats in the manga to avoid it. Minato is smart, he wouldn't get caught by something, even if he hasn't come across it before (e.g Obito trying to suck Minato into other dimension).

Like I said, Minato can just stay on the edge of the flames, and sasuke will eventually run out of chakra if this is all his plan is. All that amaterasuing everywhere and using enton Control will burn him out after a short while. For minato it's just casual FTGs between kunais and picking them up before they can burnt, kiting him outside of the border of flames, keeping his eyes down at the feet, until sasuke's susanoo crumbles from lack of chakra.
Then FTG backstab, rasengan to the FACE

Once the TBB was absorbed Minato thought to himself "Gotta pick a safe place to release the blast" and in the same panel we see an explosion. The interval between the absorption of the TBB and the release of it is either nonexistant or very small.

Not really. Amaterasu and Susanoo were used heavily during the Kabuto fight with no signs of fatigue whatsoever. Not to mention fire naturally spreads and Enton control costs less chakra thana actually using Amaterasu. The whole battlefield doesn't even need to be lit, only the immediate area needs to be lit up, as Minato won't be able to escape with Sasuke burning his Kunai up.

@bold: Just stop. Minato touching Kunai is probably the stupidest thing he could possibly do, as he will get lit on fire. Once his Kunai get hit by the flames they melt rendering them useless.

Minato gets trapped and he dies.

Very small because it was about to detonate any split second. To be honest I don't know though. I'm just waiting for this week's chapter with hopefully some explanation. It seems logical that the TBB would be in an intermediate location/seal though.

So Minato is going to dodge an attack that he can't see until it actually hits him? No.

Raikage did. The flames were clearly drawn on his chest, and he moved out of the way before they stuck to him. I wouldn't put such a feat past minato either. Number one rule in combat, if you can avoid it, you probably should.

Minato gets trapped and he dies.

Minato picks them up before the flames get to them. It'll be a shuffling match between sasuke and minato: Who can get to the kunai faster, Sasuke's flames? Or minato's FTG? We both know the answer.

Maintaing susanoo, creating amaterasu and spreading it around will take their toll eventually. FTG doesn't really seem to strain Minato in comparison.

No shit. Any1 knows of great uchihas. U'd think every1 knows how to fight them by now. How is it goin? Not so well. And what does the great wisdom say? If 1vs1 GTFO!!!

Amaterasu manifests in focal point, and only then works like projectile and can be dodged. Sasuke had focusing problems at summint fight. His focus was off.

How does minato react to spontaneous amaterasu ignition if he doesnt even look at the eyes? If he looks then, well, genjutsu?

Minato can only evade if he has knowledge. Raikage had knowledge Minato didn't. That's how he dodged it. He didn't see it coming because you can't see it coming.

Raikage prepared to dodge Amaterasu cause he knew if he tried to evade it on the basis of him being able to see it or not then he would have gotten hit.

If you don't have prior knowledge, or a sensing ability you can't evade it no matter how fast you are.

If Minato throws his Kunai and ports to it right when Sasuke launches Enton at it, when he teleports to the Kunai he ends up getting hit once he reaches the Kunai then he gets lit on fire and dies anyway.

He'd sense/see in his peripheral vision that some black crap is appearing on him and GTFO of there.

Umhh. What part of "manifests at focal point" u dont get? He can go any1 where he wants after, he might do few more jumps. Visit his faved places b4 he gets completely turned to ashes

Ok lol.. It just seems to me like everyone is downplaying Minato's legendary speed and combat ability. That's all. I question how skillful Sasuke really is at amaterasu manipulation.

Look, it clearly manifested on raikage's phyical form, then raikage flickered away. So obviously it's avoidable if you're fast enough.

Wrong. He clearly anticipated it.

C said that A is getting ready to counter with the Shunshin no Jutsu. Meaning that if you can't sense it, the time to evade is right when its used not after its used.

No, that's just you overrating it.

If he fires a magatama at a Kunai in the air and Minato teleports to it what do you think is going to happen? He gets hit.

Minato's feats are faster than A's body flicker. Even A readily admits this. Minato doesn't need to power up to avoid fast attacks, he's always ready.

where is a feat for sasuke hitting a fast moving target with amaterasu? Itachi had a hard time hitting a moving sasuke with amaterasu. Minato's kunai will be moving even faster.

Again...You. Are. Missing. The. Point.

The point is A needed to get ready to evade it WHEN it fired, not after. Minato won't know to teleport once he sees Sasuke's eye bleed or once he sees the MS because he has no info on Amaterasu.

I could be wrong about this, but where is the feat for sasuke hitting a fast moving target with amaterasu? Itachi had a hard time hitting a moving sasuke with amaterasu. Minato's kunai will be moving even faster.

I said Magatama, not Amaterasu.

Minato can throw a Kunai faster than Sasuke in CM can run? Very funny.

Its that simple. If ama would manifest at A's body, then its A HIT. but it manifested b4. why?
