Its just a stereotype. Relax. Super christians are known to shove religion down peoples throats.

I guess it determines what you consider 'forcing' a belief. I believe I should share my belief, but it doesn't do much good if someone thinks mentioning God, Jesus, the Bible, etc., is forcing my belief onto them. So, I'd say it's all about one's perspective about forcing a belief.

well it was a thread with the same title as this and they said christians have forced their beliefs and i found that absurd because thats not something christians would do
they're simply persistent but wouldnt take their persistence to extremes

i have no religion, but i have religious tolerance, forcing your beliefs on people is wrong

it is wrong but it shoudnt be force it should be strongly insisted rather with out extreme actions

Something muslims wouldnt do is blow up buildings but radical muslims do anyway. And technically, christians in the past have forced their religion upon people. Its called the crusade.

You are upset that your religion is bastardized yet,you feel its right to say Islam is known for forcing their beliefs ?

It's not like there is a christian union that kidnaps people and force them into relegion,it's just that most relegious people like to convise other people that their relegion is better or convert atheists to the right path. It's more like a social pressure developed by the relegious majority to the non relegious minority.
The crimes all relegions have commited to establish their power and authority can be consider as pressure too...

I think of it like Gamestop's insistence upon having these bonuses in your face. You can present the cards to a person, then if they accept it, hallalooyer, they are a member. But if they decline and you continue saying "well what about this card and this card and this card?" this is ruled as "insisting" and could be interpreted as "forcing" in different perspectives, seeing as how some people just want to be left alone about it.

I like the way Jews do things. They do the exact opposite--if you want to be a Jew and you ask someone prominent in the religion to initiate you in, they decline. However, if you insist upon them to be a Jew multiple times, they finally allow you to be a member.

as where in the history of christians, christianity was spread forcefully and unjustly
but that is the past
how am i a hypocrite for something thats happened soooo many years ago

I have some friends that are either muslim or christian. None of them 'persist' on sharing their delusional beliefs. That's just a stereotype. They rarely talk about their faith.

Radical fundamentalist Muslims are, but the Conservative and Progressive Muslims just want to be left alone, want to be in a country with women's suffrage, want to be in a country where you won't get beheaded for being homosexual, et cetera.

A particular group of Christians who force their beliefs on everybody in the present time is the infamous Westboro Baptist Church.

Maybe it's because they know i'd debunk all they know, as I've done with a good friend of mine who's a islam fanatic. I let him rant all those months without replying until one day I opened my mouth and he never talked about his beliefs afterwards.

dont care...

Hmm...Physically no, but I suppose that would warrant some arrests if they were really upfront about it. Emotionally, they are definitely. They interrupt celebrations, memorials, and landmark visits by generally telling people they are wrong and are sinners. By traveling to these places and expect to make a mark on people, there's no other definition for it except "forced". It's an extreme form of grassroots protests, I suppose.

You say you don't care when he answered your question? Don't ask anymore questions until you learn to respect other people's answers. >_>

he didnt answer my question he came bragging about how he thought he burned his religious friends
plus he said their beliefs were delusional
