sakura did had some development to her character in part 1 as well as pert 2 till naruto created Rasenshuriken but then kishi stopped developing her as a character..... In Part 2 I did see Sakura a completely changed Sakura but then I don't know what happened it went again to static mode I am not sure what kishi has planned but being the main lead it will be good and hope her character gets justice since she does need and deserve it IMO.....
Team 7 was the best they worked in sync whenever needed especially fight with Zabuza..... Would like to read your theories on Sakura though also I would appreciate it give me a link to Tales of Gallant Jiraiya if possible .....
The thing with Sakura is she constantly has character development. Only it's slow. That's what makes people think she isn't developed. Not to mention, she is not here only for the power-ups, part. Her character has different meanings.
And about the Tales of Jiraiya, the Gallant, do a search on Google and you'll find about it. That's how I got to know about them. I only know general stuff, never had the book itself, though.
But it's interesting, nevertheless.

Those old drawings of Oro, Jiraiya and Tsunade are interesting.
They have similar themes as Kishi his samurai super ninja outfit.
Tsunade and Sakura with the flowers.
Jiraiya and Naruto with the red and green.
Oro his pic is not in color so cant really tell, but Oro and Sasuke both have those ropes in their clothing.
I missed the meaning of the color purple in your post.

Oro has the same earrings as Sasuke his Susanoo/Susanoo in general btw (or the other way around).
That sign could indeed be a flower or a circle alone, connecting with the Haruno symbol maybe.
I didnt really get the part about the yin seal. Do you mean that giant red covering on Sakura her forehead? Seeing it as the yin seal is pushing it a bit I think.
She has a staff/polearm btw as the only one (assume Sasuke has a sword in there too) and Naruto has a sword(9).

Well, I said that his purple color could make an emphasis on his connection with Oro since the snake was purple and a Perfect Susano'o, maybe, since his basic Susano'o is purple. Well, the death part, I do believe that's 50% chances of him dying, but as some sort of hero... Dunno, what to say though, I have many possibilities for the ending, heh.
And the wealth/position. Look it this way. Sasuke is from one of the top Clans in Konoha and the wealth could be referred to his Sharingan powers. Wealth means more money, Sharingan means more powers. As we've seen it helds many different powers.
I think the helmet is part of the whole armor like with Naruto, symbolizes the fact that via Susano'o/Kyuubi cloak, the whole body is covered. And, hey, good catch with Oro. His signs were always similar to the Sharingan tomoe, individually speaking.
Well, I meant since she is covered only on her forehead, that could mean she'll get the Yin Seal. The Yin seal is placed on the forehead.
That's a staff, that I later found, is called Naginata, a female Samurai weapon.
This is incredible. The way you shoot theese threads off one at a time all equally good and well composed. The only negative part is that even though I am not really a fan of Sakura, you've made me look forward to seing her prosper. It would be a huge disapointment if she didn't now.
