Some assume that Orochimaru is merely playing along with Sasuke and the Hokages, that he's hatching something devious behind their backs, I think this is false, Orochimaru is genuinely a good person now.
Take a look at this:

When Sasuke was expressing his decision, Orochimaru turned to Sasuke and looked like this:

See that face? that is the face of sadness/melancholy, he is seeing Sasuke's redemption, something that he longed for this whole time.
