To play devils advocate, killing a lot of people is never the purpose of these attacks. 3,000 people died in 9/11, but Al Queda could've killed tens of thousands easily. As much of dirtbags they are, I think they have some respect for human life. The purpose of large scale terroist attacks is to get the target country financially invested in a war against a few hundred people and destroy their economy, and 9/11 did that extremely well. If this is NK (it isn't) their plan would be to start a war that would wreck the economy, but Kim doesn't seem smart enough for that.

I also doubt that NK would have the balls to do anything drastic. The army is barely fed, apparently soldiers have been spotted collapsing from starvation. Jim's missiles have been said to have barely any range too.

The media is likely going to try and turn this to focus on firearm advocacy groups like the NRA and various regional militias.

It's possible that there will be some evidence recovered linking the individual(s) responsible to such groups - but the link will largely be a tangent.

The fact of the matter is that if this was action being taken by those groups (or motivated by their cause) the violence would have been toward elected officials rather than people at a stadium.

There may be some link to the middle east - but it's hard to really say. It's just as likely a couple whacked out citizens.

I can't speak for their food situation but take the falling out thing with a grain of salt. Leave a company at parade rest for an hour and close your eyes. Eventually you'll hear a thud and an nco laughing. Some idiots cant remember to unlock their legs or hydrate before hand.

My sister goes to school in boston and I'm fustrated and angry that someone had bombs that close to her. I'm simply weighing all options, this act is unforgivable. They came THAT CLOSE to stopping my sister"s dream and that PISSES ME TF OFF.

I'm no military expert, but I doubt whoever planted that bomb was worried in any sort of way regarding the innocent citizens' well being.
