Orochimaru's change - do you buy it?

What's your take on Orochimaru's decision to side to Sasuke and everyone else. Do you think he is genuinly interested in helping his new disciple Sasuke or does he have an ulterior motive?

Personally I think he is leading Sasuke into his trap. The way the 3rd leans and asks what are you up to shows he is aware of how dodgy his former student is acting. That Smirk on Oros face says it all really. He will stick around to help the fight with Madara then maybe go after Sasuke's body or steal the juubi:snick:

Orochimaru is definitely up to something very sinister. I can sense it in his chakra from the latest chapter and it was bothering me the entire time because I know what kind of a person he is which makes it worse because he is one of the most unpredictable villains in Naruto.

I don't really believe Orochimaru's a threat anymore to Sasuke. He's not going to be able to take his body.

And Hiruzen didn't act as if he didn't really think Orochimaru was siding with them and would turn on him. He asked Oro that question to see why he's changed so much since the last time they fought.

I'm sure he cought on a few secrets from his akatsuki days. He probably knows more about Madara. Why did he join the akatsuki in the first place? I wonder

Not sure. However, I do believe he's as loyal to Sasuke as every member of Taka is. Don't think he'll turn on an Uchiha he cannot defeat.

Sasuke's change is also now sitting well with me. He has only heard Hashirama' s take on things. What happens when or if Madara tells him the side of the story? Personally I think that Sasuke is the most inconsistent character in the story and that's not about to change. He might end up siding with Madara

I believed him when he said he is just curious to see how Sasukes path will unfold. I dont think he ever realized how wrong he was until he saw Kabuto doing the same thing, sometimes it takes a bad person to see their actions from a different view to see how wrong it is.
