Can Naruto really become hokage?

So my first thread here besides the hello one tried to pick a topic that probably isn't discussed to much.

So assuming all goes well with the war and naruto and everyone return to their villages.

First off if tsunades alive how long do you think it would take for her to even retire if she remains alive.

But assuming she dies will naruto take over? Even if he pretty much saved the day and is a super strong bad-ass does he really have the ability to lead a hidden village?

Throughout the series he's demonstrated pretty much no genius besides the fact that he just gets back up if he's been knocked down.

Personally I could see naruto walking the path of jiraiya and leaving the village as a sort of peace marytr just going around helping people and shit but what are you guys opinions?

If tsunade dies who will replace her?

Would naruto ever become a chunin/jounin let alone a hokage?

That is the show. Naruto will become Hokage. That has been the main drive since chapter one. Even if it's not right away, Naruto will become Hokage.

Even hokage have advisers, and Shikamaru Nara will be right there with him.

Naruto has a different kind of genius; he doesn't have much cognitive genius, but he has tons of emotional and creative genius.

If Tsunade dies/retires, the Jounin would probably elect Kakashi (again) first. Naruto has to wait another half year to take the Chuunin exams, then impress the Jounin so they can vote to add him to the Jounin council.
