Samehada sure as hell didn't like the taste of Katon however, it still absorbed the center part of the technique.

To defeat Genjutsu, Samehada can simply disrupt his chakra. It is feeding off of his chakra anyways.

Both of these points mean that kirin is more lightning than chakra, meaning that kisame will still be devastated by it

Lightning is in no way affecting that large of a proportion of Suiton, it's effects would simmer due to the waters sheer size, and density.

He wouldnt use suiton on techniques that arent aimed at him. If sasuke feints a fireball to miss, then kisame will overlook it just as Itachi did. And also as I said ama will be constantly burning and its on a larger scale than what Itachi can produce
