Both Skylar and Charmander ran down the green hill, rushing into the city without a second thought. Not long after, they were in the middle of the crowdy streets, surrounded by kids to elders.
"Hmmm, not sure if we're ready for a gym yet, buddy," Skylar muttered to his fire type pokemon as they took a look through the city.

AS he proceeded deeper into teh cave marc felt the temperature continually drop and smiled to himself. "Blaze, come on out." he said and listened to his voice echo as he released an Arcanine. The giant fire pokemon barked twice as Marc and Selena climbed onto it's back. "lets go buddy." he stated as the arcanine took off deeper into the cave. its warm body was a sweet relief to both Selena and Marc as the closed in on their target.

Blaze stopped in it's tracks and sniffed the air growling. "It's here." Marc mused dismounting the arcanine. "Blaze stay with Selena and keep her safe." he commanded walking forwards a bit. "Articuno, show yourself to me. I'm here to challenge you and prove my worth as a trainer. Let us duel and may the best one win." he cried out looking at the beautiful icicles and stalagmites that hung from the ceiling of the cave.

Smirking Marc stares into articuno's eyes and pulls out a pokeball. His eyes began to glow as he reaches out to articuno's mind. you can sense it can't you. lugia's presence around me. i've disturbed the natural order but thats not why you showed yourself is it. lugia rules over you and your brethren. you wish to see if you can best me. our challenges have been accepted, lets go he thinks into the pokemon's mind noting the difference it has from Selena's or Lugia's. "Typhoon, i choose you!" marc calls out summoning a castform. The small ball like pokemon shrills loudly as it confronts the bird. "Typhoon start things off hot, Sunny Day!" marc instructed as castform launches a ball of sunlight into the air and changes it's form to match.

Castform is struck dead on by the icebeam but shakes off the attack due to its fire element. "Go Typhoon, attack with will-o-wisp!" he cried out as the pokemon began to launch multiple purple flames towards it's target. i dont believe in failure Articuno but you're welcome to try and prove me wrong.
(btw will-o-wisp causes no damage. it's like the fire version of toxic. all it does is cause burn status)

"Damn, that's a powerful blizzard attack." marc commented as he held his arms up in front of him. Although sunny day had reduced the damage castform would take as well as it's fire attributes he could tell that castform was reaching it's limits. "Alright Typhoon, triple threat attack Sunny Day, Will-o-Wisp, then Flamethrower!" he cried out as the castform quickly tried to execute all three moves in succession.

*deoxys tries to free arm but is unsuccessful instead it goes into defense mode and uses mirror coat and counter*
Zack: *points at Deoxys* How the heck does that thing use Mirror Coat and Counter at the same freaking time man???? Marley use Curse again!!! You need to do some damage to it... I know this is going to hurt but remember our training..... Now Get in there and use Crunch and then Body Slam!!!! *Zack whispers to the Champion* I have to create an opening.... even if for a moment.... then the rest will be up to you.... you cannot hesistate
*Marley uses his final curse and roars before rushing forward and crunching into Deoxys Arm, it immediately feels a large amount of pain as Counter kicks in but manages to sink his fangs into Deoxys before grabbing his torso in a bear hug and then performing a Maximum Impact Body Slam, leaving Deoxys paralyzed and Snorlax fainted from the force of the counter*

Alex: Hydreigon make it count lets go!!!!!! Surf and with hyper voice and wrap it up with dragon pulse!!!! *hydreigon launches a large tidal wave from surf then increases the speed and force with hyper voice and finally channels it with dragon pulse making it shoot a direct blast at deoxys with more power then a hydro cannon*
