I make this thread not as any explanation but to discuss with anybody who feels like abt these clans origins and relations. I'm open to and curious abt other people ideas. I'll try to explain what i can and let you know abt some possibilities that came to my mind.
We know a lot about Senju and Uchiha, we don't know much abt Hyuuga and Uzumaki. We know though hat they are in fact all related to each other in a way. We can easily see Uzumaki had the biggest amounts of chakra and strong bodies, fast healing, very good chakra control, sealing jutsu.
Sealing techs are shown to be very powerful and we know that sage was using sealing jutsu (sage was using all kinds of jutsu though). If (and we know they are) Uzumaki are related to Senju, that means they are related somehow to Sage as well. The same goes for Hyuuga clan.
There are people saying that Hyuuga and Uzumaki are the real descendants of the Sage. I don't know what do they mean by real, cos as long as these people are related to him, they are all his descendants. At the same time by now, none of them is a direct descendant of Sage.
Origins of Hyuuga are unknown. I mentioned before in one thread I believe Hyuuga's could be Senju and Uchiha who decided to get along with each other even before establishing Konoha (as we all know there were defectors on Uchiha's side). It would be only logical to assume they would merge one with another. Descendants of that relationship could be (what i like to believe) Hyuuga. Stated to be the oldest clan in Konoha, cherished as an important Clan (well they would be important if they were descendants of both of these clans), they were screaming loud they are the strongest in the leaf (debatable). Their number is not great which would make sense as well. This would explain What happened to Senju. I refuse to believe that they were annihilated. They were the strongest clan that had many allies and they founded the Village system that shaped current countries. How could they possibly be killed of??? I think they just merged with other clans (also with Uchiha, not all Uchiha hated Senju, for example Itachi or Shisui).
Uzumaki as we all know were getting married with Senju (Mito). We know Hashirama had offspring since he has a grand daughter (you can't have one without having your own kids). So we have no idea what happened with Tsunade's parents aka Hashi's kids... We had Tobi stating he could see Hashirama Senju in Naruto. That shows Naruto being closely related to Senju. It may be if either Namikaze Minato was somehow Of Senju, which is possible (I wouldn't like it though) or if Kushina appeared to be Hashi's daughter which seems unlikely as she's Uzumaki and if she was Hashi's daughter she'd be called Senju. Another explanation was given to us already, Uzumaki are just distant relatives of Senju. But where did Uzumaki come from? Since they related to Senju yet have different Clan name, and as long as i know in Japanese culture you take your father's surname it would seem that some of the Senju women have married man of another clan which were called Uzumaki and they took their surnames. That would explain why women were particularly blessed with strong chakra in Uzumaki clan.
Another possibility is that two Sage's sons might have had more descendants (which would be only normal) so perhaps Hyuuga, Uzumaki, Uchiha and Senju are equally related to Rikudo.
Now, Madara, Tobi, Itachi, Orochimaru, Kabuto, Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen or Minato, none of them never mentioned Hyuuga. These are people who know everything abt Naruto's world. So, either Hyuuga are just totally not important so nobody cares abt them, or there maybe something more to it... If Hyuuga were descendants of both Senju and Uchiha but few in number, after seeing what has Happened to Uzumaki clan which was feared, perhaps Tobirama (knowing his methods) could cover up Uchiha-Senju descendants, call them Hyuuga and sell some sh*t to people abt their origins (so even Madara might not have known of Hyuuga's history). That would explain why high rank jonin level that later on was appointed to become Hokage, didn't know of Byakugan's origins and was repeating just some rumors. If you look and Hyuuga outfits, they kinda resemble Senjus old outfits...
Well by this time in the story Hyuuga are nearly forgotten, not mentioned at all but we all can see that Naruhina is somewhere there in the background even though Kishi generally avoids romances in Naruto. Hyuuga were reminded recently by Neji's death. Maybe we'll see some more connections soon.
It's more difficult to work on Uzumaki clan as there seems to be less possibilities since they were stated to be related to Senju. Maybe you guys have some ideas??? Please share
