Susunoo ? is a counter besides itachi can still use his eyes under shadow possesion .. so shikamaru gets him amertarasu.. Choji's giant hand ? easy target for amertarasu air palm is dodged easily.. ... now like i said this only happens if itachi has Nagato ammount of chakra

There is a chasm in your logic though, think about it, they nowledge on uchihad and gai already knows how to fight him, his shadow is inside susano'o so keeping him still with shikamaru and shika then using a kakashi clone as a human sheild for ammy plus he uses kamui while itach is immobilized, going off manga knowledge, itachi knows nothing of kamui and as for gai going 6 gates and lee5 they should do some serious damage, along with kibas gatsuga and chojis expansion jutsu, SM jiraiya sound genjutsu and tsunade punch? Katsuya gamabata? Yout telling me susano'o tanks all of this from the back

People saying amatarasu one shots konoha are either an itachi basher or stupid, I wanna know what counters he has for gates,kamui, shadow possestion jutsu, lees gates, air palm, expansion jutsu crush, vaccume palm, ect... Itachi stands no chance against the whole of konoha plus we have no knowledge on 'healthy itachi' so we cannot make an analysis however its common sense that itachi can't solo konoha that's crazy talk

Not against his perfect susuno. However Itachi would not be able to sustain it long enough to do virtually any damage to Konoha. He wouldn't even come close to the damage pain did

Idk what you all are thinking. It doesnt matter how much chakra he has. NO Uchiha can sustain MS techs. they will go blind VERY quickly. Do you all not remember what happened to Sasuke and his was virtually brand new

Well if i remember correctly, Shikaku mentionned on how Itachi was able to Genjutsu a large amount of people over a pretty vast area...

Itachi should be able to control quite a lot of Konoha shinobis at the same time.... and he surely can defeat Tsunade, Gai and Kakashi.

Im not saying its guaranteed he can as Pain was suited to do a job like this, Nagato's powers are pretty much made to handle even a high number of people at the same time (Shinra tensei, Chikaku tensei), where Itachi can only rely on genjutsu to do such. And while genjutsu may be enough to win this.... we havent witnessed it, only heard from it from Shikaku.

I say he has a fair chance, it all comes down to how well he himself can use the genjutsu'd people and how well he can fight while he has them under his control.

Itachi has different strengths for solo-ing villages. According to Shikaku, Itachi has an unknown genjutsu that can effect large numbers of ninja and take contorl of them while Itachi himself remains hidden from sensors. Now, a ninja as skilled as Itachi probably wouldn't be located by Konoha ninja, and he could tear them up internally. Moreover*, if someone like Sage Kabuto closed his eyes because he believed Itachi could control him and his jutsu, then Itachi can probably take control of even Konoha's most powerful ninja and use them to dominate the village, again, while staying back.

Basically, if Itachi were evil, he'd be a major problem because he's been alluded to have puppet-master illusion abilities. However, his destructive ninjutsu are too small scale to swiftly take down villages like Nagato or Deidara's jutsu can. Still, Amaterasu could definitely burn most of it down, I'd think. Moreover, Itachi's base abilities with shunshin and shuriken could probably defeat 99% of Konoha. Part one Kakashi could barely see his movements with his Sharingan, and also said Itachi was holding back in his base abilities. And if Killer Bee was having difficulty following his flickers, then normal Jōnin would just be completely mowed down by his speed and skill, without even factoring in tricky genjutsu.

If Pain can't do it even with 6 seperate bodies splitting up and targeting different parts of the village then Itachi cannot. I mean the old Leaf without most of the amazing ninja they have today could hold back the 9 tails.

Add Danzo, Root (about half of Konoha's strong ninja work under the shadows), Tsunade, Shukaku, Chouza, Guy, Kakashi, and everybody else to the mix...at once. Or planned out- then Itachi will be overwhelmed.

Also Healthy Itachi doesn't exist and is therefore ALL speculation.
