Revealing the Truth - The Kyuubi Incident
Introduction:
We know that whenever a big event happens in the Naruto Universe, there is more than meets the eyes. The Battle at the Valley of the End? Well Madara didn't really die. Kyuubi Incident? Well a Masked Man (Tobi) was manipulating the Kyuubi! The Uchiha Clan Massacre? It was a planned genocide on the part of the Konoha Elders and Danzo. Adding to this, A stated that he is under the belief that Danzo teamed up with Orochimaru or the Akatsuki and the Invasion was an attempt to kill the Third Hokage so Danzo is elected Hokage. We also saw Danzo leave during the Invasion of Pain. Now we can see that Danzo is a sneaky little bastard, I believe that there is more to him - I think Danzo also aligned himself with Tobi which led to the Kyuubi Event and in this thread I'll be explaining why!
Theory:
Danzo aligned himself with Obito under the guise of Madara in an attempt to eliminate the Uchiha Clan from the face of the map.
Evidence:
Now, Obito said the last time he saw him was during the Uchiha Clan Massacre, hinting that they have been in contact before. Now we know it can't be the real Madara as he was presumed dead after thr events of his battle with Hashirama. So it must be Obito who disappeared during the Third Shinobi World War and reappeared near the very end or after the war. Now its say to assume that Obito never called Danzo over for a cup of tea or whatever and they only discussed serious topics.
What is a big event that happened between the Third Shinobi World War and the Uchiha Clan Massacre? That's right, the Nine Tails Attack on Konoha. Danzo and Tobi had some sort of association that led to the attack. Now why would Tobi align himself with Danzo? No switch that, Why would Danzo associate with who he thought to be Madara - simple he is somebody who is about going dirty to win. We know he aligned himself with international criminal Orochimaru so what would stop him from doing the same with Madara?
But why?
Before we start talking about that we need to take a quick look at Tobirama. Tobirama is more a Utilitarian than anything unlike Danzo - he recognized that the Uchiha could possibly become a threat - big POSSIBLY. So he took actions that he deemed fit to prevent them from becoming a threat.
On the other hand, Danzo thought the Uchiha were ticking time bombs or something, just ready to blow up and cause danger - he was an extremist. That's why he wanted the Uchiha removed! Now we know why 'Madara' want the Uchiha removed...
Danzo and Madara knew that a Sharingan could control the Kyuubi. They knew that the Uchiha would become the prime suspect so they needed Kyuubi and we know about this plan as well.
So Madara demanded Kyuubi and Danzo demanded Konoha's safety - the tie in connection was the Uchiha hatred. So between the Third War and the Kyuubi Attack I'm pretty sure Obito called Danzo over for a cup of tea or whatnot so it had to be something important so this is the only possible conclusion. And obviously somebody like Danzo, a higher up in Konoha obviously knew about Kushina's pregnancy and Obito planned it fro there with Danzo's help.
This is probably how the conversation went:
Danzo - Waddup homeslice?
Obito - Stfu, before I slot your throat.
Danzo - Calm down dude and smoke a joint. I got a deal to offer..
Obito - I don't care.
Danzo - I heard you like Bjuu?
Obito - <3 I love Bjuu!!
Danzo - And you hate the Uchiha, correct?
Obito - Yupperoo
Danzo - I'll give you a chance to get the Kyuubi and wipe out the Uchiha under one condition.
Obito - which is?
Danzo - Leave Konoha alone.
Obito - After four hours, k
