Naruto already has knowledge and wouldn't look into his eye's.... Itachi would have to put up Susanoo right away to even survive, because he would have an army of clones throwing rasenshurken left and right.

His physical strength wouldn't even match that of a sage mode clone, never mind him keeping up with a Km/Bm clone. Naruto also could use his chakra tails to go underground and surprise attack them all.

More importantly, none of them have knowledge of Naruto's abilities, other than rasengan at this particular time....

Equal grounds.... This thread is about a 16 year old kid, taking on 7-8 guys.

Current Naruto has all knowledge... Itachi thrives on people not having the same knowledge, yet you take it away from Naruto?

Naruto could easily dodge Amaterasu, and how would he know which one is Naruto all the jumping around trying to dodge all his attacks... He puts up susanoo or he is dead essentially, that's if he doesn't TTB them from the start.

Serious fight? Trashed him with ease?

Itachi was an edo for a start and he had two of the strongest character alive in the Manga on his side. He wouldn't of been able to stop Nagato attack alone.

The only reason he was able to seal him away, was because Nagato was being controlled and couldn't move himself.

That was not a serious fight and nor Itachi stabbed Nagato from the front it was from the back and inside of smoke..........

Most important thing here was Nagato was not attacking Itachi at all he was targeting Naruto and Bee since he was controlled. Plus you are seriously underestimating Nagato here he is on par with Itachi no matter which way you look at it.

The only way i can actually see this match going to the Akatsuki is if Sasori uses his poison, however... It only takes up a little part of the cave and i doubt it would even get that far.

He would also put the rest of his team in danger.
