From the manga,we can conclude that the nine tomoe at the back of the so6p clothes is a representation of 9 tail beasts ,he posseses.
The sage of the sixth path did not possess the jubi eyes or rinnegan untill he become jubi's host.The Rikudou(so6p) was able to gain some feature(rinnegan ) from the jubi chakra similar to the other tailbeast hosts .The sage split his power to his son ,one obtaining the jubi eyes (uchiha)and the other obtaining the jubi chakra( senju)
Over time the elder son eyes become changes to sharingan, which posses 3 tomoe.The 3 tomoe could be the representation current uchiha chakra level because each tomoe represented each tailbeast from the so6p and the uchiha base sharingan got 3 tomoe.This mean that the uchiha chakra level at base sharingan is comparable to 3 tailbeasts.This was also hinted by Kurama encounter to base sharingan sasuke at orichimaru's base,kurama stated that sasuke chakra is more sinister than his own
If the ninetail fox suppose to be the most powerful out of the tail beasts ,why will he state that the uchiha chakra and eyes power is more curse than his own?This is why the uchiha clan have dominion over Kurama and they can easily treat it as a weapon like obito and madara did in the past.
I believe the uchiha clan have tail beasts chakra but they clan only unlock all it throught the level of hatred/love they experience at each level.Susano alone is large mass of chakra and spiritual energy which is the strongest defense even against tbb (proven by Madara)
