I really don't understand why people get so pissed off about stuff that happened before they were even born. Its war nobody is supposed to like it and its always politically incorrect to kill civilians but guess what IT HAPPENS. Collateral damage has been around since the beginning of war. You think anybody gave a damn about catapulting stones, flaming pottery, or disease riddled corpses into a castle filled with women and children? No because that's how war is, accomplishing the objective has always been the first and foremost thing on a generals mind. If it isn't then he shouldn't be leading an army. Now we have wars like this one were we go around pretending to play nice with the civilians when we know they hate us and they know we hate them so the damn politicians can pretend that the military is the damn peace corps with guns. What really pissed me off is whenever some kid gets run over by a humvee or blown up in an artillary strike we have to go in and give the family money. In accidents like when a kid gets run over we have to deal with the grieving family, convince them to take our money to make amends, and get them to sign a piece of paper called a Seller Ticket. Thank god none of them can read English or wed have been screwed. Or when kids get killed in an artillery strike its usually because their dads launching rockets at soldiers and they decide to just blow up the whole compound. Then we do the same thing but were giving food and money to the damn enemy. Its stupid. People just need to accept what war is and stop trying to sugar coat it.
