Lets look at the facts here:

- Luffy has a rich heritage. Friendship with Shanks, grandson of Marine hero Garp and son of most dangerous criminal Dragon. None of such associations have been shown in Law's case. (Frankly no one can have a better mix than Luffy's)

- Luffy would have got owned by several marines/pirates if not for his heritage (Smoker, Admiral Aokiji, Kuma)

- He might make friends quickly. But he is stupid and makes foes much quicker than friends (in many cases, the foes are far stronger)

- He got a chance to train with a bigshot like Rayleigh (only due to his heritage) but could not surpass Law or Kidd who grew strong on their own.

To sum up, Luffy may be strong and courageous but others such as Law and Kidd have far more potential than him. Especially Law, who cares for his crew and at the same time makes intelligent decisions.

LAW = LUFFY + ROBIN

If you ask me thats a dangerous combination.

Shut up. Luffy has far more potential than law. He is more strong than law. But i cant say that he is more intelligent than law because he is not. Only thing is that luffy is stupid fool idiot. But he is much more stronger. We have not seen his full power still as he has not got a good enemy to show his power. While law got vergo to show his power. Maybe luffy might defeat vergo in just one punch.

luffy > law, luffy has a more superior haki than him and luffy fought gas and won. Even ceasar clown said he was stronger than law.
Doflamingo said because of luffy's kings haki that he is most likely better

Oh please, why is it necessary to start polluting this section to with this hollow threads -_-

Both Law and Luffy belong in the same category, meaning if they fight it's almost completely impossible to predict for certain who's going to win, thus making it quite meaningless to even start trying as just flipping a coin and guessing whether it's heads or tails has as much chance of you stating the correct answer to who would be win.

Almost everything you just mentioned can be completely disregarded as it's irrelevant, subjective, not needed or even wrong.

I seriously do not get why so many people are infatuated by these character against character threads. In most cases they just make artificially created characters not corresponding with the characters they are supposed to represent because they ripped them out of their original context and then just start interpreting everything as they see fit to match their own opinions.

Law is stronger than Luffy at this point which is a fact.
Luffy's armament haki is not as strong as Vergo's and Law cut Vergo in half along with multiple mountain ranges.
Luffy may have more potential but Law is stronger than Luffy.

luffy/kidd>law, kidd can attract laws sword before he can complete room. By then Law's finished, while luffy is the fastest one there.....luffy can grizzly magnum law. The fact that law wants to get rid of the straw through a yonkou? That's saying something.
